“I invited Construct Atelier to coordinate the build of a ground floor 'L' 3m rear, 2m side extension. Alex came across as having just the flexibility of mind that I needed to help me with many of the broader structural and design decisions needed, as well as be able to assist with the sourcing of specific items. With a vast knowledge of architecture as well as build, he was able to ensure I got the most from my architect on the project as well as building control. Alex has been fantastic in his flexible approach to working through challenges, collaboratively, with me. Taking direction and advising strongly in equal measure. I'd highly recommend Alex to anyone considering a similar project.”

“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. “The most efficient and friendly staff, highly professional team that can execute your kitchen dreams and desires to an exact specification! The expertise that the team had from the inception with the detailed drawings with great design ideas and 3D visuals created by Sonya, and the level of detail from the installation manager Avtar who was on site during the process and the complete knowledge of every aspect of a kitchen from appliances, accessories, colour schemes and materials and the utilization of space from the directors Ajit and Sukh gave us clear confidence in their work and passion for the job and service provided. They were extremely personable, warm, friendly and charming and a complete joy to have been serviced by. The finished product has been complimented by every guest and is now clearly the highlight of our home. “VC Design was recommended to me and I would do the same without hesitation. We contacted Veronica about drawing up plans for our ground floor extension and although conceptually we had a clear idea of what we wanted to she was invaluable in advising us how to best use the space and our options within the parameters of planning. She also contacted previous clients and arranged for us to see the work they had done, this allowed us to see first hand some of the ideas we had discussed. FP provided a thorough service from design to project management (including liaising with builder throughout project; obtaining planning permission; managing payment schedules). Kathryn then took over on a day to day basis as project manager and I cannot praise her highly enough. 建築家とは、建築物（住宅）やその周りの空間（外構）を、法律を遵守した形で設計する専門家です。建築物の外観、内部構造、機能性、美学を考慮し、クライアントの要望を実現します。また、実際に工事がはじまると、図面どおりに建築されているかなど、施工の監督管理も行います。
建築士は国家資格で、建築士試験に合格して登録した人が名乗ることができます。一級建築士、二級建築士、木造建築士の3種類があります。一方、建築家は特に資格はなく、「建築や設計に携わっている人」として自称できます。
建築家の料金はプロジェクトの規模や複雑さによって異なります。通常、建設予算の一定の割合（通常は10〜20％）が建築家の料金として考えられます。
プロジェクトの規模や複雑さにより異なりますが、一般的には数週間から数ヶ月かかります。複雑なプロジェクトはさらに時間がかかることがあります。
設計変更は可能ですが、タイミングや変更の内容によって追加料金が発生することがあります。変更が計画初期に行われることが理想的です。

「建築家」と「建築士」は別の意味として区別されることが多いようです。では、その違いは何でしょう？

建築士は、一級建築士、二級建築士および木造建築士に分類されます。これらは国土交通省が制定した国家資格の名称で、各資格により設計・監理できる建物の規模や種類が異なります。試験に受かった人に与えられる資格であるため、例えば工務店やハウスメーカーに勤務する人、さらには建築家として活躍する人の中にも、建築士の資格を有する人は存在します。
