“Ukalovic Design is an architectural drafting service and is owned and operated by Jay Ukalovic. We were referred to Jay by a prominent building company in Newcastle last year. Jay earned the right to do our design work after a basic tender process where we received proposals from 3 designers/draftsman. What struck us immediately was Jay's manner and disposition. He handled his first meeting with professionalism and care and demonstrated a keen willingness to listen carefully to what we wanted out of our design. The journey we have been on together is now at DA stage and we could not be happier. Jay has quickly worked through all variations and iterations of what we needed to see on paper so that we could consider all options. The quality of his work is outstanding and he has a wonderful way of making us feel like we are his number one client. “We have worked with Rustic Touch on and off for 7 years, and have engaged them to design and build two large homes as well as a renovation to another. You often hear dreadful stories about the relationship between builders and clients. Fortunately every experience we have had has been fantastic, which is probably why we have used their services more than once. Tony and Deb are incredibly professional in their approach to every part of the build. They are both very talented in design and build and it is because of them that we have a house that we absolutely love. We could not recommend them highly enough.”

“Brent from Eight Six Design was the architect that created our fantastic new house. Its a single story 4 bedroom, cladded, colour bond roof with above ground concrete pool, wide entrance hall and lots of deck He did a wonderfull job and was always eager to help with any changes and worked well with the all the trades as required. His design has had many people asking us about him and we have referred new cutomers already. We had very little trouble with a build that had to be 1.5 meters off ground level and could have been very difficult, Brents ability to see potential faults and deal with council and certifiers made our project run like a well oiled machine. I can't thank him enough and would reccomend Eight Six Design very highly.”

“We bought a total dump of a terrace which had serious structural and aesthetic issues. We hired Palaestra to help us reconfigure the building to make the most of the spaces, increase the light while keeping the cost low. Palaestra solved the puzzle of using the space as well as possible. We have a truly brilliant new stair configuration. They designed really great rooms and had real sensitivity to our rather serious budget constraints. Unlike a number of the people we hired on the job, Palaestra really got that we couldn't afford the best or most beautiful finishes but always come up with a good looking alternative. Palaestra always deliveredon time and responded to crises.”

“As first time renovators, we feel so lucky to have been referred to KDS Designs by our builder. Kieran has guided us through the process and made it very much hassle free. Kieran has always been punctual, has responded quickly and met agreed deadlines every time. We've never had to chase him up, and he has been professional and very accommodating and understanding throughout the process. From a very broad brief, Kieran was able to take this and prepare an amazing design, that with some minor tweaks, has created an amazing renovation that will make our renovated house much more liveable and of course, add significant value to our property. Working with KDS has been such a refreshing change, after having to continually chase so many other tradies and companies we've dealt with in the past 5 years we've been in our home. We are excited to see Kieran's final design come to life when our renovations commence shortly.”

“My husband & I Contacted 'Site Specific's' Sheralee to create plans for a Hamptons home extension to our existing 3 level home in Bayview. Shealee has made the whole process enjoyable and effortless . Providing us with comprehensive details of what we could expect at each stage , all the reports required she also organised for us .While offering us a pool of information as well as trusted contacts along the journey so we can ensure we are making wise choices for suppliers and trades people. In Sheralee's website she states that DESIGN, of a home should embody the hopes, dreams and aspirations of its inhabitants , while offering functionality simplicity.
