“As buyer's agent, Jenn helped my wife and I find our first home in Newburyport. She was truly amazing. We were delighted with our home buying process and love our new home. It's not all that often that I encounter someone who is doing what they were truly meant to do, but Jenn was meant to be a realtor and it is truly something to watch her shine. Jenn is incredibly knowledgeable about the community, about value and about the state of the market. Within 15 minutes of having walked unannounced into her office, my wife and I were in Jenn's car getting a tour of all of the neighborhoods of Newburyport and learning about the pros and cons of each. When new listings came up or when we toured homes, Jenn's understanding of how much a home is actually worth (not just how much it was listed for or how much it would likely take to buy it) was invaluable. When it came time to decide on making offers, Jenn had a very informed sense of bids that were likely to succeed and bids that were likely to fail, which, I might add, is incredibly difficult, and as first time homebuyers we had no clue. Jenn can make things happen. Jenn was able to get us in to see very desirable and sought after homes immediately after they went on the market. During the busiest time of the construction season, Jenn was able to get contractors into the home that we had made a successful offer on to provide estimates of necessary repairs so we could successfully negotiate price with the seller. Jenn really listens. Jenn was very attuned to what my wife and I wanted, what our budget was and what we cared about. She very much tailored her recommendations, showings and process to us. Jenn works and negotiates tremendously hard. Jenn would spend weekends and evenings, scouting at homes for us, talking to us on the phone and going through listings with us. She even met one of our contractors at our home the day after we closed for us, because he needed to get in and we couldn't be there. She spent basically a full day negotiating with the seller on the final price. To say she went above and beyond is a huge understatement. Jenn is very well-connected in the community. After we moved in, she connected us to contractors to do renovations on our home (who were all incredible) and really helped us settle into the community. Jenn is a wonderful person. My wife and I really enjoyed spending time with her and were touched by a number of really kind gestures that she made throughout the process, including getting us a housewarming present at the closing. She earned our trust very early on in the process. My wife and I were lucky to have Jenn as our guide through what should have been an incredibly challenging and stressful process. The market was very competitive, as each house we bid on had multiple other offers, and fast-moving, as desirable houses went within days, we had a limited budget and we were new to the area. And through the ups and downs and all of it, Jenn had our back, was cheering us on and helped us find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.”
