We used Woodsmith to build and install some corner bench seating for us and are utterly delighted with the result. Duncan’s communication was really helpful and punctual when it came to planning what we wanted and the install was quick and efficient. The seating is made of high quality, sturdy material and the finish is fantastic. Our family are utterly thrilled with the result and would definitely recommend Duncan to anyone else!

Duncan has done several pieces in our home and we’re totally thrilled with all of them. He firstly built a beautiful built in bed/wardrobe for my daughters bedroom which is just amazing. So much storage, beautifully finished and exactly what I’d visioned. He also built all our utility room units, a bar area and a storage mirrored wall cupboard. He was great to work with, collaborative, realisable, trustworthy and did exactly what he’d set out to do in the timeframe and to a beautiful standard. Duncan did an amazing job translating my sketch for custom built alcove cabinets including space for my record deck and records to reality. Precise and perfect finish.

We commissioned Duncan to make a series of 30 or so bespoke wooden trays for us to be used in our cake shop - it was a fiddly project and we needed each piece to be flawless. Although not the usual project he works on Duncan was incredibly professional throughout the design and delivery, from advising on materials and finishes to producing the finished items, and we couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work. I can't recommend Duncan more highly, we had bespoke fitted wardrobes made by Duncan to fit a new bedroom loft. The workmanship was excellent and Duncan provided a very professional service, was clean and tidy and had very competitive prices. We were thrilled with the final result!

Duncan did an excellent job for us. In the slightly unusual circumstances of fitting out a shipping container for a pop-up record vinyl store, Duncan provided great design advice including high quality drawings that enabled to easily tweak the design to get the perfect finished product. Duncan's workmanship and customer care was top rate. The work was completed quickly and exceeded our expectations in terms of the finish. Highly recommended.

Duncan built us fantastic fitted wardrobes and new kitchen units in our 1970s listed flat in Gospel Oak. We would highly recommend him for his exceptional attention to detail, extremely high quality carpentry, and his willingness to take on new projects with enthusiasm, creativity and sensitivity. We have been trying to restore our flat in keeping with the original architecture, and Duncan really got on board with the project - he takes a huge amount of time researching (site visits, gathering pictures and ideas from you and online) to really understand what a project is about. It gives you lots of confidence knowing just what a perfectionist Duncan is in getting it exactly right. He's is especially great for a hands-on collaborative project - we were really closely involved with the design process all the way through and appreciated how patient he was with our slow decision making. No qualms at all in recommending Duncan - he did such a great job in our flat - the design and built quality are both flawless - totally worth it! Note - no kkckboards yet in the photos - our floor has just gone in and Duncan is coming back to trim them for us!

Duncan's work is fantastic. He is a complete perfectionist and takes upmost pride in his work. We hired Duncan to create built in cupboards and shelves in our bedroom and the same in our two kids rooms - they look amazing and make the most of the space. Duncan is lovely to work with and very knowledgable. I would 100% ask him back to do future work for us.

Woodsmith were commissioned to design and build our kitchen. The job they did was outstanding from start to finish. The design is beautiful, unique and extremely stylish and the standard of workmanship and finishing is second to none. Throughout the whole process from design to installation, Duncan and his team were a pleasure to deal with and the few small issues we had (inevitable in any project of this nature) were resolved efficiently and effectively. We love our kitchen and take daily pleasure in the attention Woodsmith paid to small details and the exceptional overall quality of the finished product. It has attracted numerous comments from people who have visited our home, and allowed us to inject something very unique and special into a standard Victorian terrace house layout. Highly recommended.
