I highly recommend Mike and his extremely skilled team of workers. My wife and I couldn't be more satisfied by the full interior remodel that Woodside Development realized for us. Mike was extremely responsive throughout the process, and maintained a high level of professionalism and care for the outcome of our home. He was transparent and accurate with price and timing, flexible to our evolving vision and always enthusiastic and able to execute the work that we wanted to have done. He is well connected to a variety of high quality vendors and is clearly very respected by all those who know him. His high standard for quality construction and craftsmanship is unparalleled in the Metrowest. We plan on hiring him again in the future and will continue referring him to family and friends!

We highly recommend the team at Woodside Development. They did a magnificent barn renovation for us that involved the total gutting of an historic structure - new windows, new door entrance, new ceiling height with beautiful supporting beams, a large soapstone work sink, a new lavatory and an elegant wall and a half of bookcases. What's left bears no resemblance to the former, dirty old shop structure. Mike is a fantastic manager - no surprises on the budget and quick action to address any problems well after the job was complete. You can't find a better team of craftsmen in the Boston area. On our recommendation, two of our children have hired Woodside for renovations -- that's how confident we are.

Mike is absolutely fantastic to work with. Super attentive to detail, super personable, sticks to time estimates and budget. What more could you ask for. We did a whole house renovation and added a master suite. Our project was even more complicated than most because we were living abroad, but Mike pulled it off with great communication and we are thrilled with the end result.

Mike did an extensive renovation project on our 5 bedroom house that lasted 6 months. We re-modeled the family room, mud room, and master suite. We were exceptionally happy working with Mike and with the work. Some key things about Mike that made the project a huge success and actually a pleasurable process: * Transparent, accurate and fair pricing. As we changed scope along the way Mike made it very easy to see and track the impact on cost (both up and down) * Hire the best sub-contractors and manage them closely. Everyone Mike brought into our home did top notch work, on time and on budget, and interacted with our family in a friendly and respectful way. In the rare, but inevitable, instances where something wasn't right, Mike was immediately on it. * Friendly, flexible and super responsive. Never any tension or difficulty or delay in communicating. * He took personal ownership for the entire job, even things that weren't really his responsibility. For example, we had a wine fridge installed and he chased the manufacturer when it didn't work correctly. Would recommend unreservedly!!

A family member in the trades who worked with Woodside Development on a number of projects in the past referred us to Mike. Our renovations consisted of a kitchen, family room and pantry/laundry room addition which started the day after Christmas. Since my husband had built the rest of our house, he was very particular about these renovations. Mike provided a comprehensive explanation of each phase of the project, its specifications and consistently updated us on a regular, if not, daily basis. When we had questions about materials to use or design changes, Mike offered practical and cost-effective suggestions. Each part of our project was always ahead of schedule and, again, our renovations took place during the winter months. Mike’s goal is to ensure that his customers are happy with the outcome of their project. My husband and I are thrilled with our addition – the craftsmanship is outstanding. Our home is so beautiful - we feel like we’re on vacation at home all the time now.

You know the saying- “Good things come to those who wait” This is true in our situation, after a long search for the right builder for our project, our Architect referred us to Mike Palmer from Woodside Development. Our project included an addition and a kitchen remodel to a Mid Century home. From the beginning, Mike respected our vision, we were adamant about making the new blend in with the old and to make the transition as seamless as possible. Due to Mike’s attention to detail and his extensive experience, the finished project has exceeded our expectations. He welcomed our input, was always available to answer our questions and always made sure we were on schedule. He is an excellent communicator, and his attention to detail was top notch. He and his team transformed the exterior of our 1970's home, and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

Mike was the best person to work with on our project! From the start my husband and I knew as soon as we met Mike that our project was going to be a success, with my self being an architect and my husband a project manager we were very skeptical of a lot of the contractors we met. From day one Mike was honest, timely, thorough and accurate. Our project finished on the schedule he gave us and for the cost he gave us. Along the way he also helped us value engineer our project so we could be at a budget that worked for us. In the end the only change orders were because we added scope and not because Mike didn't cover the scope. Communication is key to any project, Mike kept us updated sometimes daily and was always available to meet or take our calls. No one ever believes me when I say the whole process was as easy as it could get!

We went with Woodside development to install a new porch and hardiplank siding. Mike is very easy to work with. We liked his attention to detail. From the moment he stopped by for an estimate it was clear that he is a true craftsman. He noticed every piece of trim, outlets and fixtures we had and immediately had a plan as to how to attach our new siding. He kept good communication throughout the project and even came up with a solution so that our new porch foundation would not cause us to need to tear up significant areas of our patio and driveway. It was clear he wanted to make sure we were pleased with the outcome, and we are. We would definitely recommend Woodside Development.

We have worked with Mike at Woodside on a building project - providing both timber beams and wide plank flooring - and he is very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. His projects turn out beautifully and show that an abundance of thought and care have gone into them.

Mike is wonderful. I generally only do my own work on my house and I have very high standards. Because of some family issues I need the job done quickly and efficiently. Mike's availability, attention to detail, his willingness to work with me, his very fair pricing and were spot on. And the best part.... He gave me a realistic schedule which we both agreed to. And then he completed the job a week ahead of schedule even though I added parts to the project mid-stream. It was really a first rate job.
