We are several months into a knock-down and rebuild. Even though we are not yet half way through our project, so far, we could not recommend Woodmans more highly. At the beginning of the project, the Managing Director, Brent, met with us on a number of occasions to talk through the process, filling us with confidence that we were in experienced, professional hands. Once we started, any hurdles we encountered were quickly ironed out through good communication and a mutual interest in proceeding as quickly as possible, with the best possible outcome. I have recommended them to a couple of friends who have also used them with 100% satisfaction. Andy the site manager is brilliant, communicative and efficient and all the guys are fantastic.

Really impressive company that clearly has a great culture. I say this because not only is the work exceptional but the discipline, manors and professionalism of the staff means that having work done at your home is an entirely positive experience.

Always very happy with the work Brent and his team at Woodmans provide. We've had a number of projects completed by them for hotels in Brighton we own. We also just used them to complete a home extension and refurbish which we are very pleased with. Coronavirus made working through the project more difficult with all the restrictions in place and their patience and communication was helpful to us. The team is also lovely on site.

We approached Woodmans following recommendation just after the start of the first major lockdown. Our business had been heavily affected by the pandemic and we had to find a solution to working effectively from home. We had a small traditional brick built asbestos clad garage at the end of our garden and the hope was that we could develop that into a useable space. Brent came to our home along with James, one of their architects, and sketched up what we could potentially have. The work was agreed and James and Brent went away and within a few days had drawn up our space and ensured it sat within permitted development. The timing worked well for us in that Woodmans had a small team available, which is rare I am told, and Brent agreed to get us going within the fortnight in particular knowing how important this job was to us. From the outset we felt safe respected by the building team, all great people that follow the ethos that we were promised at the start of the project. We were warned that there was a number of products that couldn't be sourced an to expect possible delays. It was nice to have our expectations managed rather than led down a dead end path as has happened to us in the past. Fortunately Woodmans sourced everything we needed from their network and we incurred only a short hold up as we wanted a specific set of doors that had a longer lead in time. We added quite a bit of extra work on along the way and Brent made it happen in programme. Great Experience

The difference between Woodmans and the other contractors we considered to build our new home became very evident even before the tender process was completed. Once the project began it was clear that their attention to detail is second to none. From the manner in which they operate the site, the attitude of the team building our home and, most importantly, the day to day communication with us the client, it is very clear that Woodmans is a very well run business that employs skilled and very competent employees at all levels throughout the business. We are very confident that our expectations will be completely fulfilled at the end of our build.

Yet another job completed for us by Woodmans. As usual, they identified potential savings, liaised with other parties to ease us through red-tape and completed on schedule. One minor snag, caused by poor weather, was dealt with immediately. More than happy as always.

Woodmans have just finished a 4 year renovation of our very run down exposed 1930's house. They have done a truly amazing job and I am so glad we chose them. The house has been 70% rebuilt and Woodmans have always coped really well with any problems that arose. They have come up with brilliant ideas and will always work to incorporate our needs into the project. They are highly professional, trustworthy, communicative and reliable and all their employees care about getting the house we want. They have tackled any snagging issues in a timely fashion and their finishing is second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Woodmans completed a major house renovation for us in 2013 but have continued to look after us (and our house!) ever since. The original work was completed to an excellent standard and all the staff both on site and in the office were professional and friendly and a pleasure to work with during the project. Communication with Brent and the team both with us and our architect was always excellent. Woodmans have been back to help us with a few additional issues in the subsequent years and it has been great to have such a trustworthy team on our case. Cannot recommend Woodmans highly enough. Choosing Woodmans to do our renovation project has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. The whole process from start to finish has been a pleasure with them and we have felt in very capable hands throughout. The project has involved a full scale 14 month renovation, from a new roof to new walls, electrics, plumbing, exterior works, tiling, decorating, you name it! Nothing has been too much trouble and the team have been so committed, dedicated, passionate and professional about their work. I have used Woodmans twice for renovation work on my home and have been absolutely delighted with the work. There is a big difference between workmanship which is good and that which is exceptional. The decorators are genuinely OCD, the finish on paintwork is perfect. Roofing work was equally excellent - recommending lead for a Victorian bay window was a great recommendation, even a simply bay window roof looks beautiful. Alongside that the team are super professional - on time, full days and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.
