I have just completed the build of a WM Design & Architecture detached property, the contemporary sea front property looks spectacular and Adrian has been an absolute pleasure to work with on the project. Thank you for all your help and continued support during this challenging build, and I look forward to working with you on the next one.

Adrian came highly recommended to us by another client in the area. He was the second architect we worked with on this project (a house demo and new build) and was vastly superior to the first. He did a great job especially at the start, grasping what we wanted and putting that into the plans. We are extremely happy with what he produced. He was also patient when we did not always respond to his emailed questions quickly, in the early stages. He was easy to work with and personable. He also project managed our build. I would say that was perhaps the only somewhat weak point; liaising with the builders was not always smooth/quick but I don't know if that was caused at his or the builders' end. He did seem to work well with and have a good relationship with our builders on site, however. As seems to be the case with just about every project I've ever heard of/been involved with, interest in/ability to finalize things dropped off towards the end.

We have been delighted with the service provided by the team involved with the total renovation of our bungalow. From start to finish we have been informed at each stage of the planning and building regulations process. We always feel we are in a safe pair of hands and very professional. No hesitation in recommending them and would definitely instruct them again.

We’ve used WM Design’s services twice now and they’ve been fantastic to deal with on both occasions. More than a safe pair of hands in dealing with the technical and practical realities of a complex project, they also have the creative flair to produce highly innovative designs. We worked closely with Nigel and Chloe and they were extremely professional throughout, exceptionally knowledgeable and particularly accommodating of our wishes, and above all very patient with us…we can’t thank them enough! We also benefitted from input from other members of the team and that collective input really does help create a formidable offering. Along the way, we managed to throw up various seemingly insurmountable problems, but they made these ‘problems’ look easy to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again and would say to anybody wondering about who to use as their architect, that they won’t go far wrong in choosing them: experienced, knowledgeable, helpful, and importantly nice people to work with who’ll go out of their way to create something you’re happy with and to make the whole process as stress free as possible. Undoubtedly excellent value for money!

We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending our Architect, Adrian Williamson and WM Design LTD. Adrain created a superb design which was truly beautiful, with the wow factor, for our home which was a conversion of a 1960's Milking Parlour and Dairy. We've had excellent support and advice from Adrian throughout. He was always available to help with the numerous enquiries and questions as they arose during the design and build phase. It was very reassuring to have Adrian monitoring and assessing progress at each stage of the build. Adrian's knowledge, creativity and professionalism made the whole experience of our first large building project a very enjoyable experience. We feel grateful to be living in such a beautiful home.

WMD have been engaged with us throughout our project to demolish a bungalow and replace with a new contemporary home. We are delighted with the end result. The project had its challenges, not least the COVID pandemic, but we have been pleased to have the WMD team providing the support, guidance and reassurance that we needed. The design of the 250sqm house was very collaborative and had to meet a number of covenant restrictions. But despite the constraints, the design takes advantage of the views and is complementary with the local housing with the appropriate blend of ‘traditional’ and contemporary features. Whilst we have been very much hands on during the process the WMD contribution and ongoing support has been key to designing and building a home that we are proud of and very pleased to call home.

Adrian was great throughout. We really enjoyed working with him, he had great ideas and was able to give really valuable advice. He was always approachable and happy to help.

WM Design were responsible for the complete design our new house, including all details of materials and construction. They advised on matters including method of constuction (a mix of block and timber frame), retaining walls for the site, timber cladding details, heating and lighting.
