Window World of Atlanta

We had all our windows and exterior doors replaced by Window World in mid-January. With that initial install, it became apparent they had forgotten to order our large picture window. Some of the windows and our screen door were missing hardware as well. I have made so many calls over the last several months. Initially I was told that it would be May when they'd be able to finish everything. May came and went with nothing. Called multiple times to follow up. Finally they told me they had all the parts and could come and finish the job in July. The guys showed up with only the big picture window. They said they didn't know anything about hardware and to call again to have that scheduled. When I called, I was told., "It's here on the truck that's getting unloaded. They'll be ready by the end of the week." Waited but heard nothing. I called two weeks later and was told they didn't know where the parts were but would leave a message with the warehouse manager to get back to me. Heard nothing. Called today to figure out what is going on(almost September). Now they say they have the door parts in and "should" have the other parts by the install at THE END OF SEPTEMBER. Understand if they finish the job at that point, we're talking OVER EIGHT MONTHS just to finish the job they started. We signed the quote last October, so that's not including the manufacturing of the windows/order time. We were fine with that initial order wait, due to covid. This, however, has been ridiculous. Clearly there is poor follow through and communication within the company. We picked Window World partially due to their warranty. Now I'm praying that nothing ends up being wrong with the windows, because this has been the worst experience just trying to get them to finish INSTALLING them. I have lost faith that it wont be just as much hassle getting things taken care of if we run into further issues. Every person from the company has been kind and courteous, but that doesn't outweigh the lack of actual follow through. This has been such a frustrating process. I hope I can save someone else from experiencing this.

I don’t typically take time to write a review unless I’m very upset and I am. Window world is terrible. I paid partial down to have three windows installed back in September. Takes 6-8 weeks for install no problem. However once a date was set they have canceled 6 times. I’ve taken off work no show even manager stated they were sending two crew to repair and install. No call from a manager nothing just keep rescheduling and cancelling. Worse experience ever. My other windows are from Champion never experienced and issues like this. I have no faith in window world. They are to repair a window they installed that shuts but doesn’t lock. I can’t turn on my alarm because of that. It’s been 4 months of canceling still no repair and no install. I refuse to order again from this company no professionalism no customer service efforts to right the wrong and not living up to their warranty on windows. Each time I see a commercial I’m irritated.

Poor communication. Delivered the wrong window twice . Does not accept responsibility for their own incompetence. Unable to deliver as promised

Just the absolute worst experience ever with this company. Signed a contract in May of this year for new Windows, Siding & Gutters. Everything we were told by the sales guy was a complete lie. First off, since we didn’t hear from them for over 10 weeks we called them to get an update. They didn’t seem to be in any hurry. Then they finally scheduled the first of many outside contractors they hire to show up and instal the windows. Long story short, here we are the day before Thanksgiving. The work is still not complete. The crews of contractors have been to our house at least 5-6 times over and still can’t get basic things completed. Things like the used the wrong color caulk 3 times on all the windows! Tried to use caulk to conceal a half inch gap they left in between two siding panels that were supposed to overlap. All the trim around the windows is uneven and not fastened properly. The list goes on and on. Be Aware stay away from this company. Nobody that works there cares at all.

Terrible customer service. The windows seem ok but they were only able to install 4 of the 14 windows we ordered. So, every window dressing had to be rehung and all the furniture had to be moved back just to undo it all a second time next week where we still have to take another day off of work wich cost money. Window World of Atlanta doesn't really seem to think its a big issue though as they are more interested in selling me more materials at a discount to make up for the inconvenience then they are interested in actually addressing the problem at hand. Out of the 4 windows completed so far, one has a major defect so that'll be a 3rd trip we have to schedule at least. I just hope there aren't more problems with the remaining 10 windows, but my confidence is low... Especially after speaking with Carter who seems to think we want more services from Window World of Atlanta. There are plenty of other places to buy windows in Marietta, GA. I suggest shopping around and reading more reviews than I did.

GREAT PRICES!!! GREAT PRODUCTS!!! My home was very drafty and once I put in the new windows it felt so warm. Also, looks great and easy to clean. GREAT DEAL!!!!
