プロフィール

Wilkinson King Architects is a design based practice which seeks to build imaginative, contemporary and environmentally sensitive architecture. The studio is led by Chantal Wilkinson and Julian King who work with a team of talented and experienced architects to provide a high quality architectural service from feasibility to the completion of works on site. Our built work covers a broad range of project type and scale and includes new build houses, as well as renovations and extensions for private clients. We also work for local authorities and public institutions including arts organisations and businesses.

We have used Wilkinson King twice. The first time they provided consultation and architectural drawings for an extension and remodelling of a small flat. The second time was a much bigger project and that involved merging two properties and project managing the whole build. They are great at opening up space, bringing in light and creating flow through the property. We were pleased with both projects, and particularly delighted with our second project which turned two pokey, dark flats into a truly stunning 2,000 square foot open and bright property with probably the best terrace in London that really does flow from our open plan family space.

We undertook a fairly complicated house extension project in Hampstead which was planned and project managed by WK. Julian & team did an extraordinary job planning the right things and making sure it would happen. Extension and refurbishment of north London terraced house. Great working with Julian and Chantal and their team to extend our family home. We were taken through each step of the process from initial design requirement to the finished signed off planning. The final stage was the production of a detailed statement of works document to enable us to go an tender and select our builder.

We would strongly recommend Wilkinson King. Julian and Chantal designed our beautiful kitchen extension, then oversaw the building project itself. We love the outcome. It has changed our lives and we still delight in living in it 6 years later. The important issue for us was that Julian and Chantal listened to what we wanted and while they were full of creative ideas and suggestions, they were flexible and sensitive to how we wanted the space to work for us. Their design and work is very high quality and stands the test of time.
