I've hired Rosalyn to design, plan, and project manage various features at Marketplace Events' Home Shows in Edmonton such as the Edmonton Home + Garden Show. Roslyn from Blue Wicket Interiors works with the contractor we hired to do a kitchen and 2 bathroom renovation. Roslyn was very easy to work with .She provided suggestions and was open to other options if we had any. She gathered and brought samples to the house of everything we needed from flooring to wall and bath tile to cabinets and countertops.She listened to what we wanted and if we wanted her to make the decision she did. We are thrilled with the results of the renovation. Because Roslyn works continually in the interior design field she knew what the latest trends were and what would have lasting appeal. Wicket Blue was involved in all aspects of the complete renovation of a 1960s home, including, design, color, products and layout. Rosalyn saw this project through to the finish keeping subcontractors on task. She understood our needs and worked with our eclectic tastes. A key design request was to find products that were low maintenance and looked good with messy family/large dog. She meet this challenge and I particularly love the cork flooring custom colour, kitchen countertop, glass backsplash, bathroom tiles. I also appreciate all the unique light fixtures she found for the entire home. She has an incredible eye for colour and make a home feel just right.

We hired Rosalyn from Wicket Blue to design and manage a major renovation we did. It was not a lot of "wall moving" but we replaced kitchen, bathroom, flooring, fireplace and changed to overall aesthetic. The most amazing things about Ros were: -Ability to truly understand our vision. She seemed to just get what we wanted really quick. -Ability to do a great high/low combo to stick to our budget, but also have great quality and great showpiece items. I often describe her as our "Decorating Fairy" as when we got past the reno stage and onto the decorating, she would come in while we were at work and stage the way she recommended. It was up to us to look at what she did, and keep what we like, send back what we didn't. It was so much fun. The crazy part? She got us so well, and was so reasonable in her choices that we sent nothing back! Loved it all, and stayed right on budget.

I have used Wicket Blue on several renovation projects over the pat few years. I have found it very beneficial to myself and the client when using a design professional. While I can concentrate on the building and General Contracting the client and Wicket Blue focus on design, colors and finishes. She never fails to more than satisfy and "hit the nail on the head" when assisting me and my clients. II have recommended her to many of my clients and fellow builders.
