Our Roots Westerfield Landscapes’ founder, Yair, first learned about landscaping by going to work with his father, a regional water manager. Later, he worked for big landscaping companies as an irrigator and water specialist and also worked as a water manager. He learned to work with state of the art irrigation systems. He also studied landscape design and horticulture in college and at a school for contractors. Yair Valdez started Westerfield Landscapes to provide customers with high quality workmanship and an all-in-one landscaping firm. He wanted to provide customers with quality they could trust, from start to finish. This includes design, installation and maintenance for all parts of the outdoor environment. Serving You Westerfield Landscapes began in Costa Mesa, California. Now we proudly serve all of Orange County and Los Angeles County. We serve both residential and commercial customers, completing small jobs and large projects. Our team of professionals works efficiently to provide the best value and quality. Although our customer base keeps growing, our mission remains the same – to bring you the best possible results! Environmentally Friendly At Westerfield Landscapes, we value the environment and work hard to install the right kind of landscaping for the surroundings. Irrigation efficiency is the foundation of our projects, eliminating run off, over spray, and over watering. We install inline drip systems, with flushing and filters that eliminate water waste. And when choosing plants for your landscape, we look for factors that affect the water requirements for different types of plants. We will select the most appropriate plants for your area. Our Maintenance Team also uses battery powered blowers and trimmers to reduce emissions and noise. These steps help to protect the environment and to create a landscape design that will last.
