Wendy Umanoff - Umanoff Design

I met Wendy at an artists meeting. Explained to her I needed a light fixture over my dining room table and I had seen several of her lights in the past and loved her work. I provided all measurements and left the rest up to her. I am still so excited that Wendy agreed to make my light fixture. I love it so much and everyone loves it when they visit me. She was very easy to work with and to contact. I am so proud to own one of her creations. Even though she is located in Richmond, VA, she sent the finished product to me and it is just perfect. She found five spheres, painted them black and wired them together to make 5 lights grouped to form my fixture. If you need an awesome light of any kind, table lamp or hanging fixture, you definitely need to see Wendy's work. She is very creative and does an amazing job. Wendy gave me an estimate of cost and stayed within those limits.

Wendy is incredibly talented. I worked with her a several photo shoot and interior store styling. she is creative, professional and super easy to work with. Her lighting designs are genius.

We have 3 lighting fixtures that were designed by Wendy and are about to have our 4th installed. It is so exciting to have several one-of-a-kind pieces of art that also serve as lighting. Wendy is a talented, out of the box, designer who wil exceed your expectations!

I learned about Wendy when I went into Decor in Richmond, VA. I loved her lighting, and so I contacted her to design a chandelier for my front entrance foyer. What I liked was how she recycled old objects and/or industrial items and then turned them into fun and lovely lighting. We went back and forth with ideas and she looked at photos of my house to see how the chandelier would relate to other rooms. She melded my very eclectic style (my rooms tend to blend antiques with modern art and items with "industrial" design). Bottom line -- it was a fun experience working with her to design something that I LOVE!!

Wendy is one talented designer. She has such talent in taking ordinary objects and turning them into works of art. Her lighting is timeless and artistic. She has a great eye for detail and seeing project start to finish.
