Having built a pool before in a previous home that went really smoothly, my husband and I had a pretty high bar for how the project should unfold. And Jason, Lance, Keith, and the rest of the folks at Weisz Selection exceeded those expectations. From the initial reach-out online for a quote, to our first meeting on design, all the way through past the end of the project, the entire Weisz teams’ responsiveness has been unmatched. While responsiveness is huge, execution is even more important and they knocked that out of the park too. Jason and his design team were able to bring our vision to life even better than we imagined - we now have a backyard oasis in our new home and we couldn’t be happier. Our project manager, Lance, was always on top of things, even before we could bring anything to him, he had the answer and whatever solution already rolling. Our build time was lightening fast without suffering quality. We were putting water in our pool in just under 11 weeks from initial dig. If you’re looking to transform your outdoor living, go with Weisz, they go above and beyond to ensure you’re happy with the results.

My husband and I built the home of our dreams. Not too small - Not too large. Close to the gkids. We wanted to create an outdoor pool environment that would be great for family get togethers or for fun with friends that matched the look and feel of our new home. We selected Weisz out of 10 pool companies based on the vision Jason (the owner) created for our new pool. From the beginning, Jason and his team provided an outline of what to expect and when. Each week, we would get an update on what activities are scheduled, what we should expect when that phase is started and ended. Given we were living through Covid hell, we expected delays. There were of course but not because of the Weisz team. The Weisz team worked every angle to find replacements for the tile and other parts that we selected but were held up somewhere on the ocean. Denise, a gem of a woman, searched high and low and found perfect replacements that made the pool look even better!!! Every person who sees our pool loves it! From the 5-foot back waterfall with fire bowls on columns to the swim up bar seats - it delivers. The “icing on the cake” or in our case the pool was the 15 ft Magnolia trees and various other bushes and flowers that created the ultimate outdoor oasis. Or as our friends now call it, the Henry Resort Who needs to go on vacation when you have this backyard beauty. If I had to do it again, I’d go with Weisz!

We moved to a new house from California, and wondered if it was possible to replicate our old lush yard. The ground in our neighborhood is clay… difficult to grow things. Jason not only understands Texas plants, but he has an artist’s eye for placement and color. The results are spectacular, with good soil, interesting boulders, berms and a boundless variety of flora that thrive in the Texas climate. I can’t recommend Weiss highly enough.

I would definitely recommend Jason and Weisz Selection Outdoor Living Specialists to tackle any outdoor project you have. They went above and beyond with our backyard paradise around our pool as well as installing a top notch sprinkler system in both the front and back yards. Jason stayed in contact throughout the entire project and ensured we were happy the entire way. A great, local family owned business with the customer is always number 1 mindset!!!!

I would recommend Weisz Selection for your outdoor living project. My project was just completed and included a pool and outdoor kitchen build. As with most projects right now, supplies and resources are limited. My project did go past the estimated completion time, but the communication as to why there was a delay and the next steps was very good. My project manager Keith was excellent. He did a great job of keeping me informed and answering all of my questions.

Every person we encountered in our dealings with Weisz Selection was very professional, honest, knowledgeable and took pride in the quality of their work. They did a wonderful job of creating an all-inclusive vision for our backyard. The owner worked with our budget to construct whatever level we were comfortable investing in. The design they promised on paper came to life & we were very happy with the end product. We are pleased with our project by Weisz Selection. We decided to turn our backyard into a place we would enjoy. Our project was a little unique in that we had a 30-year-old pool that we wanted to remove and use the space for a fire pit and water feature. We talked to several firms and in the end selected Weisz Selection. It has taken a few projects over the years to be able to assess a firm and appropriately decide if you want them doing working for you. We are halfway through our project and there is no question that Weisz Selection is in the small group of trusted companies for us. Our project manager, Lance, is very experienced, able to communicate with the construction crews, and able to understand the needs of the project to keep it moving forward. I am an engineer and very detail oriented. I am pleased to say that all crews that have performed work on our project are top quality, both in terms of resulting appearance and construction quality. Early on I emphasized that I wanted the project to standup to the test of time. I believe we have received what we asked for. We look forward to the completion of the project and the enjoyment we will have using our backyard with friends and family.

We are just getting started on our pool/ outdoor living area but so far we are pleased. This review is a 5 star for Lance who is our pool project manager. He has been great communicating with us each and every step. Mother Nature didn’t make his job easy but he forged ahead and made us feel at ease that all would be fine. We are early on in our project with Weisz Selection and everything has gone very well thus far. The design process, permiting, HOA approval, initial dig, has gone smoothly. We get constant updates from the team and they've done a fantastic job of keeping us informed.

Note: This is our experience with this company. Your experience may be different but we wanted to provide others a cautionary tale as we were the ones that looked at Google reviews before we hired this company. Now whenever someone asks if we have a recommendation for a pool company - well tell them who NOT to use. We spent over $100K on a pool and had nothing but issues with them. This company proved extremely difficult to work with and were not forthcoming with information. We started our pool build in Feb 2021 and didn't start swimming until Labor Day - for what was originally told to us would be an 8-12 week project. The reason we went with this company is because they told us they had their own equipment and didn't have to wait for anyone else - so we thought they would move fast the entire project - wrong! Advise #1: If it is not in the contract, don't expect it to get done Advise #2: They will be nice and agree to things - right up until they collect the money - then they will "forget" they agreed to something Advise #3: Inflate whatever timeline they give you - they are not transparent on their timelines and don't provide the most accurate information. Advise #4: They will try to bully you into things you didn't agree to - or tell you how they didn't agree to what you are wanting and as such you have to go with their idea Advise #5: Don't use this company at all! Issues we had: 1. We actually ended up removing the landscaping costs from our contract and did it our self since the project was so behind schedule. 2. We originally agreed to have piles of dirt removed during the inital dig put in front yard and leveled out - but because we didn't put it in the contract, we end up with piles of rocks in our front yard that are still sitting there. 3. We originally agreed to have a pile of rocks moved to the back of our property and when we complained it wasn't completed, we were told they would go to the back of our property and move the back - unreal customer service! 4. We thought we had agreed to have our desk sealed - apparently it wasn't in the contract because they reminded us after we asked for weeks when it was going to be completed that it wasn't their job to seal the deck. 5. Everytime we asked for an update on certain parts of our project, we were given a new name of someone to talk to, got the run around from them on the update and never got a true answer - all the way up until the end. Bottomline, save yourself the frustration and the hassle of dealing with this company. They are all about the money - you hold no leverage once that contract is signed with them - and if you think you will just hold on to the money until they do what you want them to do, you will lose with them - they've been doing this for a while and know how to play the game with the contract. This is not a good company to deal with - customer service was non-existent, the people you deal with are bullies.

Jason and his team were incredible to work with. We hired them to build a covered patio to tie into our house. The quality, professionalism, and commitment to ensuring we were informed throughout the process was amazing. We couldn't be happier with our patio and the experience. Highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to find Jason and Weisz Selection after a very difficult, lengthy pool construction situation. Our experience with our pool contractor made us wary of how things would go with the rest of the project. Jason really set our minds at ease by doing exactly what he said he was going to do, when he said he would do it! So simple, yet something our pool contractor couldn't do over 6 months of construction! He came in, met with us about what we were looking for, and came with great ideas when we were clueless about what we wanted. When work started, it went so fast! He told me it would be only a few days, and even with some weather delays, it was! I couldn't believe how efficient they were! My backyard is a paradise and though the pool is a centerpiece, it's the perfection of the landscape that really makes it the special place it is and that is all due to Jason's diligent and professional work. I recommend him in a heartbeat for anything.

Last fall, we contracted with Weisz Selection to complete a total transformation of our back yard. The project scope included: an extensive travertine patio, a free-standing linear gas fire feature, multiple new flower beds, installation of seven large trees, landscape lighting, a new irrigation system, re-configuration of the center swale to allow for better drainage, and extensive new sod. Jason did an outstanding job of presenting different design options that met our budget, and then customizing and refining to meet our vision. He had great ideas for the plan as well as incorporating our requests. He was professional, available to answer our questions, and very thorough with his follow-up. The extreme wet weather of last year was a challenge that extended the project timeline, but Jason and his crew did everything possible to ensure completion of the project. Lisa Pierce, Customer Service Manager, was always available to answer any questions that we had and was very efficient in following up on special requests, preparing contract addendums, and facilitating payment schedules. She is very friendly and a delight to work with. Ron Hathcoat did a great job of overseeing the project from a quality perspective and making sure that we were satisfied along the way. We are extremely pleased with the end result and enjoy spending time in our new backyard – every time we see it, we remark on a what a difference the landscaping project has made. We cannot say enough great things about the quality of the plants, materials, and overall project execution by Weisz Selection.

Weisz Selection did a FANTASTIC job. We put in a spectacular pool which transformed our backyard but, the additional landscaping transformed the entire atmosphere much more than I could have anticipated. Jason is very responsive, extraordinarily professional, a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Weisz worked flawlessly with our pool company. We chose Weisz Landscaping after multiple bids and couldn't be happier with the work.

We had a pool installed last fall and Jason Weisz did all of the landscaping. He is very professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond our expectations. He worked within our budget and built a “low maintenance” landscape design to meet our 101 level gardening skills. Once he understood our budget and preferences, he took us to a nursery and recommended plants and flowers that bloom at different times of the year. He even came back in the spring after the brutal winter and replaced 4-5 plants that didn’t survive. We interviewed several landscapers and none came close to the level of service and knowledge that Jason provided. I’d definitely recommend him for any level of landscaping.

Jason did a great job on our backyard landscape after we had a pool and arbor put in. He was quick to come over and listen to our thoughts and had a drawing back within a week. We've had some bad experiences with landscapers not following through in the past and really felt that Jason would deliver on his promises. He is easy to get a hold of through texts or phone calls and has been very responsive to questions both during the process and after. We would highly recommend him.

If you want your landscaping to have the ,"wow factor" then look no further! Weisz Selection Lawn and Lanscape Services did an amazing job! We had the pleasure of working with Jason who completely understood our vision and was helpful every step of the way. He was patient, professional and understanding. Our cabana that they built looks incredible! We have been getting so many compliment.s on our backyard.! Jason helped us pick out palm trees that make our yard look like a tropical paradise!! We hired Jason to complete the landscaping in our front and backyard. Jason and his crew did a wonderful job. Jason is professional and is great at communicating. If you have a question for him or several questions like we did, he is quick to respond via text or by phone call which is greatly appreciated. He exceeded our expectations on the trees that we installed. I was expecting much smaller trees, but to my surprise, he brought bigger trees at no additional cost. We will use Weisz Selection Lawn & Landscape Services again for our future landscape needs.

We used Jason to build our dream pool and landscape! We can’t thank him enough for being easy to work with and after 2 years he still checks in with me! You simply cannot ask for a better person to work with and someone you can depend on. Regarding our yard, our budget was $15k, although we did add 2 extra palms. The palms he uses that he hand picked for us are amazing! I get kudos and compliments from everyone that has seen them. Neighbors are envious. Quite simply the best yard I’ve seen between dream pool and gorgeous landscape by Weisz Selection! We feel like we are walking into a tropical paradise in our back yard, a permanent oasis! It’s special to us because it’s like having a vacation in your back yard, relaxing, beauty, stress free, and colors abound! I know a lot of people want to do a little here and there, but I disagree. Because Jason was able to oversee and design our sprinklers into an integrated design to make the maintenance easy. It’s one thing to have great service. It’s another to have beautiful oasis when planted. But years later the watering schedules and attention to detail has kept our plants growing into a tropical rainforest! So every year, gets better and better! Plants were picked well and designed to last and that’s important to me. We wanted to spend the money one time, take care of it with easy watering schedules and tips, and watch it grow and get more and more beautiful! Mission accomplished! Can’t thank Jason enough for what he has done to our yard! We are the envy of the neighborhood and the palms he uses are easy to maintain and gorgeous!

I would highly recommend Jason and his company. They did a fantastic job on our landscape pool design! Jason has been so helpful along the way on getting this project complete. We visited the nursery together so that I could show him what I liked as far as plants and color options. He is easy to reach via text when I have questions, regarding care for the new plants. His company also built our outdoor covered stucture. We spend so many evening enjoying our outdoor area. The palms that he chose are the feature item around the pool and we continue to get tons of compliments!

We had the opportunity to work with Jason on a landscaping project related to building a new pool. Jason and his team exceeded expectations in every phase, from the initial consultation to the final execution. Jason is an outstanding listener. We met at our house, which wasn’t even finished yet, and discussed some broad outlines of what we had in mind. Jason asked great questions and provided his expertise to guide us through the conversation. The next step was for Jason to draft his vision and then we met him at the nursery to see the actual plants he envisioned for our project. Since we are not expert gardeners by any means, this was extremely valuable for us. He again listened closely as we expressed what we did and didn’t like (color, size, required maintenance, etc.) as we toured the nursery. We then left all the details in Jason’s more than capable hands and he delivered an amazing backyard to us. Everything from the color choices to the placement of the plants was done under his close and careful supervision and it turned out to be spectacular. We could not be happier with the project and we will come back to Jason for any future projects we may have.

Jason saved us! Our pool build came to a hault when the original arbor design was not working out. Our project had many challenges due to our roof line and small area to work with around the pool design which included a sun deck. His consult impressed us immensely and we knew instantly he was the one to build solution. I can’t express enough how much we love the end results. This design far exceeded our expectations, and the quality of work is outstanding. We know now that it was meant to be and will definitely be recommending his work for many years to come. Great job Jason! So happy to keep the curves that outline pool design, and the trim is amazing. Hopefully this design will help others in the future, overcome their spacial challenges. Jason did a complete backyard renovation for us with covered patio and landscape. It has turned out beautifully. The process went very smoothly from start to finish. He was very patient with us in the design process and accommodating our needs while being mindful of our budget. Individual subcontractors did impressive work and were always professional and courteous.

I've been having trouble getting some dead plants, replaced even though they're still under the one year warranty. Always an excuse for replacing them & lead to believe it's my fault they died.

Jason and his company did a moderate sized project for us in Commerce TX this Spring of 2016. Our new porch and landscaping turned out beautiful, and we are loving the new area and yard. We hired Jason Weisz and Weisz election to build a covered outdoor patio with a grill island and a builtin Big Green Egg. The quality of the build is very high. We are very pleased with the work performed by Jason and his crews and offer our highest recommendation.

Great overall experience. We have done a lot of remodeling and were surprised by how hard and how diligent these people worked to get this patio addition done. They are true craftsman and the quality overall exceeded our expectations!

I contacted Jason with Weisz Selection regarding my sprinkler system, which was 13 years old and needed some updating and repair. Over the years we had expanded some flower beds and moved others, so the sprinkler heads were in the wrong place now, and needed to be moved. Jason responded to my online request, that I filled out over the weekend and came out to talk to me the very next Monday morning ! After we talked, he sent out his crew the next day and they went thru every single zone (16 total) and every single sprinkler head. They checked each individual head for, operation then for direction and then for coverage and either adjusted, moved or replaced if needed. I was very happy with the job that Weisz Selection did, there knowledge and attention to detail was Like a breath of fresh air, it always makes you feel good when a company takes the time to do a job the way you would do it yourself if you had the knowledge and know how. Jason, thank you and your crew, you guys did a great job !

Jason Weisz Landscaping built a beautiful pavilion for us. They were professional and took into consideration all our requests, budget and time. Project was finished on time and they were always quick to answer all our questions on design and costs. Whenever we had a question on adding or changing the design and/or materials that would incur additional costs, Jason was able to offer an alternate option that would save us money and he was also able to tell us on the spot what the additional cost would be, if there was any, so not to surprise us later. We are enjoying our pavilion and receive compliments constantly on the design and structure. Thank you Jason and staff!

We worked with Weisz Selection on a very larger backyard/outdoor renovation project, this included constructing a 20’ x 20’ covered outdoor living space with full fireplace, grill, bar, large roof and concrete patio addition to our existing home. We also had a custom cedar storage unit built to exact specifications to fit our space. The quality of work and craftsmanship was top notch. We found the owner Jason Weisz to be very reliable/trustworthy and the quality of their work was excellent. I would highly recommend them and I would also choose Weisz Selection again. We worked with Weisz Selection on a sizable backyard project, constructing a 20’ x 20’ covered outdoor living space with fireplace, grill, fridge, sink, flat griddle, and landscaping the backyard. I found the owner Jason Weisz to be completely trustworthy, and the quality of their work was excellent.

We needed landscaping for the backyard after just getting a pool. Jason really listens to what you want and don't want. They are very easy to work with and you can tell that they want the customer happy. After he picked out many plants for us, he gave us the option of placement. We left that up to him, and it turned out beautiful. Just amazing. They did a fantastic job. We have also used this company before at our previous home, and we were very pleased. Weisz Selection did an outstanding job for us. They built a bathhouse/sauna/wet bar/storage house/entertainment area, and it not only functions as designed, but it was built well and is beautiful too. Weisz Selections understood what we wanted from the start of the project and they incorporated items that you simply can't buy at the local hardware store. They 100 yr old barn wood, and an old military barracks style bathroom sink, and had doors and cabinets custom build from antique materials that give give our outdoor area an impossible-to-duplicate, unique feels. Absolutely thrilled with their work. Service was great. One of the custom made doors swelled after installation- They came out and fixed it, no questions asked, even after the final check was paid many months ago. I was worried about service after the sale, but they seem intent to please, even though their contractual obligations were completed many months ago. Only negative: our project was behind schedule, almost from the beginning, but I wouldn't necessarily blame that on Weisz Selections, as we also built a pool at the same time, and that project contained the deck pour, which was delayed because of problems with our pool contractor.
