I had GJ All Services do my bathroom renovation. They did a tile floor, new freestanding tub install, frameless shower install, all all tile in the shower (walls and floor). There was an issue with the tile floor, and Jose had a new crew re-do the entire thing to make sure I was happy with the finished product. He stands by his work and made it right. I am very happy with my bathroom!

Jose and his team recently remodeled our primary bathroom and we couldn't be happier with the result. GJ was recommended by a friend who has used this company in the past on referral from others, so we were confident in the level of quality we could expect. About the job, it was completed on time and on budget. Jose was very prompt and detailed from the beginning, providing an expected timeline and estimate that his team managed to over the 3 week long project. Throughout the project the crew arrived and departed at the same time daily, were polite, and cleaned up each and every day. The kind of things that you expect folks you are allowing into your home to do but are pleased when it actually happens! It is also worth noting that the same crew was here throughout the project, so it was not a revolving door of new faces. Overall, we feel we ended up with an exceptional space and experience for a price that was competitive and more all inclusive than the other estimates we received. Jose and his team did a terrific job taking out and patching up walls for us, as well as completing electrical work! Their prices came in exactly as quoted, they took care to keep all of our stuff covered and clean, and they were friendly and respectful of our needs along the way. Jose and his team were great during the entire process. They removed a wall for us, smoothed our stamped ceilings, added in 14 canned lights in our downstairs, exhaust fans in three bathrooms, quartz countertops, new backsplash, new faucets and did an awesome job! As always, there we’re touch ups to be done when the project was completed and Jose was able to repair them the day after the project wrapped. Seamless experience. The only hiccup in our project was due to not being able to find the right stone to repair the fireplace. Although a disappointment since the mantle had already been ripped off….. we were lucky to find an alternate solution.

We’ve completed three projects with G J All Services within less than a year. We moved into our house and decided to add a half bath, update the kitchen backsplash and hood range, all the lighting in the house, and reface the fireplace with stone. The home also had a 1500 sq ft unfinished basement. Jose and his team took the vision that we sketched on paper and turned it into reality. We added two additional bedrooms, a bar, a game room, and a media area. Their estimates of work and project management skills are to-notch. They’re super flexible and work with you to get things just as you like for as close to your budget. Jose came recommended to us from a friend. His craftsmanship, value and friendliness was all exuberant. We had our master bathroom living room renovated, both of which came out immaculate. We had quite a lot of electrical and sheet rock done in the living room that now looks like it came with the house. The bathroom had a wall added, plumbing rerouted and new vanity, all of which were very happy with. His team was always on time and finished within his time estimate. Jose and team did a great job on our deck demolition and repairs. We are very admittedly high maintenance and like to move QUICK with projects. We contacted Jose when we were ready to move forward with the initial quote that we had received about 6 months prior. Jose took a look at the work that we wanted done and gave us a new quote quickly and was able to get started on our project about 3 weeks early due to a schedule change for one of their other projects. The team was extremely kind and respectful and I could count on them to show up right on time every morning. We had a hot tub and entire section of our deck demolished, an outdoor kitchen torn out and replaced with more deck space, our stairs moved, new hand rails installed and the entire deck painted and sealed and could not be happier with the outcome! I am currently pregnant and was not able to take down string lights we had hanging and move some furniture and Jose and team were very understanding and moved the items for us before getting started on the job. We also decided to add additional work (replace and paint siding, install additional flood lights, and fix gutters) after they had already started our job and getting updated pricing was smooth and easy. Once the job was complete, Jose did a final walk through to identify any areas that touchups were needed or something wasn't working properly. We found a few areas that needed additional paint and our flood lights were no longer working to turn on and off with the switch (they were dusk to dawn lights but we like to have the option to turn off at night to do outdoor movie nights). Without hesitation Jose explained they would come out the next day to get all the touch ups completed and connect the lights to the switch and he did just that! I would definitely recommend Jose and team and will use them if future needs arise!

Jose and his crew have done a number of projects for us at 2 different houses, and always do an excellent job. More importantly, whenever anything goes wrong (doesn't something always go amiss!), he can be trusted to make it right without arguing or charging for the fix like other contractors. Pricing is always fair, work is completed on time to the best of their ability, and there are no surprise overages at the end of a project.

I hired GJ All Services based on pictures and reviews from Houzz. I felt like their quote was most competitive compared to the other bids I received, and the pictures of their work and reviews made me feel good about this big, expensive decision. What was supposed to be a six week project ended up being months. I guess their intention was to knock down walls, work on electric and plumbing and HVAC, with no permits. I made the executive decision, apart from Jose, to go to the city and do it right…. And I guess I was penalized for that because the whole team ended up leaving my project, an entire house renovation, empty and in disarray for three weeks! Unfortunately, I was managing this renovation from out of town, so I guess they took it upon themselves to work on other projects instead of the one I was paying them for. When I did finally get into town on move in day, I found the outside of my house literally strewn with garbage and leftover food, and cigarette butts, and construction material. I have no idea how long that stuff was out there - my husband and I spent two hours breaking down boxes and bagging trash so we could get in the front door. Inside, the house was very dirty and not finished, even though Jose had given me a finish timeline of the prior week. We couldn’t stay there as we planned. It was not livable at that point, At one point, someone let a bottle of water spill on my subfloor, right by all my new flooring boxes - and just left it. Like nobody cared enough about my house to pick it up? I found a lot of the finishings to be very sloppy, most specifically the cabinet install with broken/misaligned trim, nail holes, scratches (brand new cabinets). On top of that, the wrong color cabinets were installed. It just felt like the whole experience with them was a circus - I had a lot of anxiety working with Jose and I felt like I had to chase him around for updates. There was very poor communication, poor project execution and an undeniable lack of integrity and responsibility. I’m glad it’s over. I have to say honestly I would never recommend them to anyone or ever consider hiring them again. I’m really just glad it’s over.

I hired GJ All Services to design, build and paint two wood panel accent walls in my home. My experience with Jose from receiving an estimate to completing the work was top notch. The team exceeded my expectations in focusing on the design details to achieve the look I wanted and left the work areas spotless after finishing the job. I would highly recommend GJ and will engage them again on future home improvement projects.

I was actually shocked by both the quality and pricing efficiency. They came in with a bid so much lower than the others I received that if they hadn't been a personal referral, I would have been suspicious. They were on time, made huge progress every day, followed my last minute changes, cleaned up and were not a $0.01 over the quote. I cannot recommend enough. If you work with them, be clear about what you want and get your expectations out there, because they move fast! My 400 sq foot screened in porch was up in 9 business days. And that was after removing my old deck. I cannot recommend enough but i am honestly already irritated that they are going to get busy because I have plenty more work for them to do.

This company does a great job, WHEN they show up. They were a no-show, no call, no follow up on my most recent job that I hired them for. I was depending on someone to come prepare my house to sell (painting, small repairs, etc). I discussed this with Jose and how important it was and on the day of the job no one showed up. Very poor customer service and lack of consideration on his part. The did a previous job at my home a year or so ago. I guess they got a call over the weekend that would pay more and he decided to skip out on the appointment that we made. That seems to be common in this market. Again, great job when they show but not dependable.

We contracted GJ All Services to renovate a bathroom at one house & repair ceiling drywall and walls from leaks from the roof at another house. I highly recommend them - very professional & knowledgeable. Their work was excellent and will definitely use them again.

We hired Jose and his team for two projects at our house. They painted the interior walls and trim plus the deck and front steps. They were punctual, helpful, and courteous. They did great work and always cleaned up. The second project was to install a bathroom in our basement. They helped with suggestions during the construction and were always open to our ideas. We hired GJ All Services after we moved into a 2006 house, to do whole house interior wall and cabinet painting, renovate our laundry room, remove faux wood beams and wood slats from a ceiling and wall, and then repair the drywall on wall and ceiling. Jose and his crew were professional, worked really hard, and did a beautiful job! The drywall repair was VERY messy, and Jose had it cleaned up for us following the job. His prices were very reasonable (we got four different estimates), and Jose is a friendly, knowledgeable and professional person to work with! I hired GJ All Services to re-tile a shower that a previous contractor worked on. The prior contractor (who was fired) failed in basic things such as a water-proofing the shower pan, straight tiles and gluing in the drain. I brought in GJ to fix the mistake. Jose took close notes on all of the problems I had and made sure that these were all addressed in the final product. Jose's crew also suggested new ideas to improve the look of the shower. GJ All Services took master bathroom down to plywood floor and 2" 4" stud walls out at our request. Outside of quoted price, we purchased tile for shower and floor, paint for walls and all plumbing fixtures. GJ All Services removed insert stand-up shower and "sauna" tub as well as garden window over "sauna" tub. Inserted tiled, shower in space where "sauna" tub and garden window was and re-framed wall where garden window was removed and inserted smaller window. Installed and finished drywall, for bathroom and then painted (also painted master closet). Laid tile floor in master bathroom, master closet and water closet. Re-routed plumbing for new, walk-in tile shower and two-sink, free standing vanity purchased to replace "wall-to-wall" vanity in original build. Replaced vinyl siding on entire exterior wall of house where window was replaced. Pressure washed entire house and repainted exterior door and window frames.

I was in the process of getting my house ready to be staged, photographed and listed to go on the market and I needed good help, fast. They gutted most of the house including kitchen and baths, moved walls to add more space to the master bath and add a closet, remodeled with new finishes, did plumbing, electrical work, relocated vents, opened 2 walls between the kitchen, dining and family room, smoothed all ceilings, added new wood floors throughout, wrapped and dressed up interior columns, new railing, built a new hearth and full mantle surround, replaced doors, single front door with double doors, sliding doors with french doors, remodeled laundry room, painted entire interior of the house, replaced all lighting, baseboards...and more. We couldn’t be happier with the results! Not only is their work excellent but so is their work ethic. They show up on time, are honest, respectful of your home keeping things as clean as they can be during a major reconstruction, and take pride in their work. We are so happy with the results that we plan to work with them on exterior projects as well, and we confidently refer them to family, friends and clients!

Jose, and his crew rebuilt my laundry room after the dryer vent pipe failed and dumped lint throughout my walls. At the same time they upgraded the floor in our downstairs bathroom to ceramic tile and laid out a complicated pattern beautifully. They did a great on both areas, and I am very pleased with the quality of their work and the professionalism of their staff. They arrived when they were scheduled, and cleaned up completely. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other bids I received. They are now my go-to people for anything I cannot/will not do myself.
