On 5/18 Al came out to replace the outlet and to install the fan. I was charged $30 for the outlet. I paid for all parts. I was charged $125 for the ceiling fan with the light. I didn’t think this was going to be a issue because I had a ceiling fan with a light already installed where the unit would be going. When Al arrived he asked where the fan would need to go. He didn’t express any concerns. Once he completely installed it- he called us back into the room to tell us he had capped off the wiring and connected the fan to the remote only. I questioned why it could not be connected to the outlet. He said it would be easier this way. My children sleep in the room where this fan was installed. They are 6 years old and 18 months. I questioned if this would work and was again told this would be better. I walked away disappointed but willing to try it out. I tried but they are too young to keep up with a remote. My sister explained the situation to Brian. He basically told her it didn’t make sense and it was the shortcut way. She has a similar fan and it operates both by switch and remote. She later explained the situation to Rob. He had a similar response to Brian’s. He told her he would take care of it. I never got a call. On 6/2, I reached out to Darlene and explained the situation. She said someone could come look at it after the 9th. It was a small window of time. I could not accept the time. My son had a medical appointment. I am the parent of a Special Needs Child. I also am employed full time. She explained they had graduations to attend. I explained I understood and could push the time back. I just wanted the fan to be corrected. I was scheduled for 6/15 between noon and two. In the mean time, I try to use my outlet outdoors it now does not work. It’s strange because the outlets outdoors were working right before Al came out. I have video of the one of outlets being used right before he came. I thought no worries, when they come out they can see if they maybe accidentally turned it off. 6/15 arrives. At 2:20 pm I receive a notice that it’s been a busy morning but they are in route. 2:37 pm another message comes. The driver has been rear ended in a car accident. I offer prayers and well wishes. My appointment was moved to 6/17 between noon to 2pm. The guys come out and complete an estimate for my powder room. However, neither guy is an electrician. I contact Darlene. At 2:28 pm I was told the electrician is out on a family emergency. She notes she was told this morning. I explain I would really like Rob to c
