Mara Catherine Sippel Art

I have acquired a piece of Mara Catherine Sippel's art called Lounges. I have it prominently hanging at my beach house in Aptos, CA

Mara paints with enthusiasm and passion. Her work continues to evolve. She's done a group of veggies and fruits for me including pears, cebollas (onions), and chard which I have in my kitchen and hallway. She also did a small beach house picture that I purchased at an auction. Her colors are vibrant--like her. Mara, not only sells her art for profit, but she gives back to the community by working on murals at local schools (for free), and donating her time to teach art to the Dayworker Center in Mtn View. I'm still hoping to buy a "Barn" painting from her as she has done some amazing paintings of barns.

If you have seen any of Mara's beautiful art, you already know that she is incredibly talented! Her use of color and texture is amazing. I had her create a painting as a surprise for my husband's birthday; he rides mountain bikes and has a favorite local trail. Mara was very open to feedback and collaboration. She spent time researching the area and mountain bike models and shared her findings to make sure the final product would be perfect. My husband was very happy with his own piece of art! In addition to her talent, she is very kind and passionate. I look forward to working with her again!
