We have a small backyard in a bad need of a makeover. After calling several contractors to get a quote, and many disappointing prices, or no response at all, along came Joe Murgel. We became friends almost immediately. He is an accomplished professional, and a very decent man. We took our time fine tuning what was to be done. I received an estimate detailing the work and the cost involved. On the agreed date, the workers showed up very early, their supervisor, Dominic was very professional, laid the expectations clearly, when I asked for additional work (the landing and the trees), the quote was calculated and a receipt provided. The work was done diligently. I was very satisfied with the end result, we went over the estimate by requesting trees, and also rebuild the landing at the front of the house. The backyard was completed back in 2019. I am still in touch with Joe until now, he did additional work for me, but also because I can count him among my friends.

Joe and the STC builders team completed our dream backyard renovation (interlock patio & back door landing with pergola, outdoor kitchen, vegetable garden/garden beds) during the summer of 2020. We first contacted Joe in spring of 2019 for a quote/drawing and from day 1 Joe was extremely professional, reliable and very down to earth...we hit it off immediately! He listened to everything we wanted and gave us many suggestions as well throughout the entire process of the renovation. Joe and his entire team was an absolute pleasure to work with!! From the start of the project the team was working on site every single day (except when no materials were available due to COVID!), always very hard working and professional, and especially Caesar who always took time to answer all my questions! Most importantly to me and my husband was that if something was done that was not to our liking or was a mistake it was always rectified and fixed. In the end, the quote provided was what we paid (no surprises!), and we are extremely happy with the space. We are actually having STC come back this spring to finish the space off with a hot tub and landscaping because we enjoyed working with them so much!! Thank you for a wonderful space to spend time with our family and friends!

Joe and team did a beautiful job renovating our backyard. From start to end, they brought creative ideas, worked fast, were professional and very responsive to all our questions. We renovated during Covid and as a result many materials were sold out or difficult to find. Joe went above and beyond to source product for us and keep the project moving along. We can't say enough about the great experience working with them and how happy we are with the finished job!

I found STC Builders online and took a blind leap of faith based on their gallery of photos of past jobs. I used STC Builders to enhance and add to some existing interlock, cover our front concrete steps with flagstone and create a built-in BBQ on our back porch. From the start my communication with the company was professional. We met several times to discuss our needs before the project got underway. All the workers who were part of the job, were friendly, courteous and most important, good at what they do. I had asked for a few changes during the project and they were accommodating every time. We are happy with the outcome of the project and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends and family.

Where do we start? Joe from STC Builders is a consummate professional in every way! From the day we met him, until the last day of our construction, he was kind, patient with our millions of questions, ideas and an equal number of changes and additions we kept throwing at him. His crew, every one of them were a pleasure to work with and did a most amazing job transforming our weed filled, backyard to the most amazing oasis we now have. Crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up beautifully! Thank you Joe, Cesar and Chris most of all, and the rest of the crew, you were all awesome to work with. Domenic and his team did a fantastic job to give my backyard some much needed improvement. We met with him in the Spring, and came up with a design that met our budget. Even after the 10th stone sample that was dropped off :). These guys are patient, and respectful. Would recommend to others, and will be having them do future work in 2020, very happy Thank you

I had (and am having) a real bad experience with them. Dominic and Joe are hot-heads and they cut corners. They don’t do jobs up to specs and they are not very professional. The job they started last year is still not done and it’s like 14 months later. They also caused damage to my property. I would not recommend them. With all the positive reviews, I have a good idea where they are all coming from. Dominic and Joe are also rarely on site, leaving their workers unsupervised. When my wife called to politely bring mistakes to their attention they respond with yelling and intimidation If you need more detail, let me know. As much as I hate writing negative reviews, I have understated their lack of professionalism. After they yelled at my wife yesterday (again) instead of owning up to this, I doubt they would ever properly correct the mistakes they have made.

STC Builders transformed my front yard in on absolutely gorgeous design they were extremely professional and quick. On Monday I had a design, Tuesday I gave the approval to go forward, Wednesday the crew arrived and did an outline and began the prep work, Thursday the work was completed. I fell asleep with a smile on my face that night. Looking forward to having STC Builders design and turn my backyard into on oasis. Thank you Joe, Dom and the whole team for making me extremely happy.

This was the best and most stress free contractors I have ever hired. They not only helped design but the quality, workmanship and finished product were absolutely stunning. Now I have to deal with people knocking at my door and stopping as they drive by, asking who were the contractors :). Don't even bother looking for another contractor. STC Builders is the ONLY way to go. Seriously!

I was trying to find a landscape company since Jan of 2017. I came accross STC Builders while scrolling through on Houzz. Their portfolio is what sold me on contacting tjem for a quote. So my husband and I gave them a call in the Spring to cone out. We needed our front walkway extended, new steps and porch. As well as a deck in our backyard. Our wood was rotting and heard about using composite. After meeting with them, I came to a decision on what I wanted. They were pretty competitove with their pricing. Any questions I had they answered by the next day. They are a professional company and as a customer I felt safe and cared for. Their workers kept our site clean every day. They were respectful and courteous of all surroundings. The finished walkway, porch, steps and backyard deck now look like they could be out of a magazine. Thank you STC. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants quality design work. We even got a follow up call asking if we were 100% satisfied with them. Great work, will be calling them in 2018 for future work, cant wait.
