I can't believe it took us so long to leave a review. We feel so lucky to have partnered with Antonella and Nadia for our multiple projects! They helped us: re-roof, install french drains, build an attic addition and portico and were outstanding to work with : present, responsive, accommodating and really went the extra mile even feeding our cat while were away during our project (multiple occasions). We fully recommend A design Art & House and would definitely use their services again with pleasure. They truly were so easy and pleasant to work with and we love the end result!

We own an old house we love, but like many old houses this one has aging systems; plumbing, electrical etc. It also has many wonderful quirks worth loving and preserving. This has always made facing maintenance and renovations very fraught. We needed to find someone who understood and respected our preservation concerns, but who could simultaneously work with our very limited budget. The preserving of old houses is an expensive business and on a limited budget many judgement calls are involved.. We needed someone who "got us" as clients. In addition we were dealing with water leaks inside the walls that were impossible to diagnose and estimate before opening up the walls and ceiling. Once we were "in" we needed to follow the problems wherever they led us. The trust really needed to be there. Antonella and Nadia were total professionals. They coordinated and supervised the demolition, plumbing, tile and electrical work in a way that we could never have done. They were great. Did I mention that we're picky? They were terrific.

Nadia and Antonella helped us design a beautiful modern kitchen to replace the ancient mess that was there when we bought our house. The job was much more affordable than we expected, and the quality was top notch. Like every major renovation, there were some minor hiccups along the way, particularly due to the pandemic and scarcity of certain products, but Nadia and Antonella were communicative and creative in finding quick fixes and alternate sources when necessary. We love the finished product, which we expect to add at least double the renovation cost to our home’s sale price when we eventually move. In the meantime, we’ll enjoy this house with a fantastic kitchen.

Antonella understood my needs exactly and made helpful suggestions as to what would work and not work. Being based out of state, I felt confident handing my keys over to the team and was thrilled when I saw my kitchen cabinets repainted and my bathroom remodeled. Working with Antonella and Nadia was seamless. They were so communicative, respectful of our budget and flexible in making any changes we might need. They completely updated our kitchen after we recently moved in to our first home. They made what could've been a nightmare experience into dream. The only hiccups we ran into were due to material delays from covid and the small language barrier between the design team ( the ladies ), and the labor team. We would definitely hire these ladies again!

Very happy with our decision to work with Nadia & Antonella after getting quotes from other companies they really stood out for many good reasons. They had some great ideas for our vision and their crew is very clean and on time. They did a good job covering the floors and walls, they vacuum and clean up as much as possible. They were always available and provided updates, answered questions, they have come in person to see the progress and address our questions. Our project finished up and we love everything, we really felt they went above and beyond for us.

Working w/ A Design Art & House to implement a full interior gut reno was a truly delightful experience. I generally have beyond high expectations and Antonella, Nadia, and team met them every step of the way. A full gut entails hundreds of deliberations and choices, and often planning on the fly, and Antonella and Nadia were able to break down the decision making process to digestible bites and offer options/solutions for each. Our style, goals, and dreams appeared in every suggestion they made and the end result is truly fabulous! We pinch ourselves each day and often feel beyond lucky with the end result! Antonella and her team did a beautiful job on our main bathroom renovation. We didn’t change the footprint but the bathtub area was a gut job and we got new tiles laid over the old wood floors and floor to ceiling subway tiles in the tub/shower area. Antonella paid a lot of attention to detail and was super responsive and also very helpful in making design choices. The final product is impeccable and we’re very happy with our new bathroom.

We have a pretty unique experience. We didn’t realize we wanted to renovate until the very last minute. We had already bought all new furniture without thinking of renovating our first floor. Finally we decided and hired A Design Art & House. Everything came out fantastic! They were able to make arrangements and modify around our plans. We also were in a tight budget and was able to meet that budget. We are very pleased! It’s basically like having a new home! Highly recommended.

We hired "a Design Art and House" for our bathroom and kitchen. After many research about the "right" interior designers that would understand what we wanted,(and i am a very peaky person) we finally found the right people. I was looking for my own style and someone to translate it to a unique design. And they really succeeded. If you re looking for originality, fair prices and genuine interior design with a soul do not look further. I'm truly happy to have something original, clean and not overpriced.

I love Interior Design

I bought a circa 1905 victorian house fully renovated by Design Art & House. They did such an amazing job in prioritizing investments and upgrades, in respecting the original personality and style of the house, in choosing materials, textures, and colors. They have exquisite taste, final touches were incredible. We loved their work so much we are now looking to do additional work in the basement with them. I would strongly recommend them to anyone that is looking to respectfully renovate, with personality, creating not just functional but also unique spaces.
