Leicester Carpet is is a family-owned flooring company celebrating it's 40th year in business. J.B. Snelson and his wife Alma started the business from their home in the Leicester Community in 1971. It has grown to include two major flooring centers in Asheville and Hendersonville NC.
For many years Leicester Carpet was a "mom and pop" operation with Mrs. Snelson handling sales in the office while her husband supervised installation. The couple's integrity and attention to customer service made Leicester Carpet the preferred choice of builders and "WNC's most trusted name in floor covering."
