If you are coming to us for a quote on a renovation or new build you are looking at making an investment in property in some form. We take your investment seriously. There is no such thing as a “quick quote”. See below our process to ensure your investment will be as successful as you aim it to be.
Plans must drawn by an architect or draftsman if the project needs Council Consent. We have built strong trusted relationships with an architect and a draftsman and can point you in the right direction if needed.
Your Builder and Architect/Draftsman must work together during your build to ensure you achieve the design and space you want within your budget. Organising this team at the start will save time, money and stress. It helps if they know each others work
At the costing stage Macreadie Builders engage a Quantity Surveyor (QS) who is trained and qualified to assess what your construction project is going to cost. We work closely with a QS, Chris from Njord who ensures that construction costs and production are managed as efficiently as possible within your budget. He also produces a detailed and realistic timeline so you know what to expect which helps hold construction teams accountable. A QS cost is a must do when renovating or building a new build home. We highly recommend this to all of our clients to ensure we have pricing right and are all on the same page.
