I commissioned Michael Courts to build two bookcases for me and I could not be more pleased with them. They are both functional and beautiful-- true works of art. I've had one of them for nine years and it is still in perfect condition. Michael's attention to detail is excellent and the quality of the furniture he built for me is beyond compare. He completed both bookcases on time and within budget and the only surprise was that they were more beautiful than I anticipated. I will definitely commission him for future pieces!

I saw Michael's work in a tour of homes, and when we built our own home, I sought him out to complete several custom pieces. We have since recommended Michael to several friends based on his work for us. He is a skilled craftsman who is easy to work with and responsive to the needs and opinions of his client while still maintaining his own strong point of view. He built a dinning table, wrap-around island counter, large bookshelf and mantle for our home. Each piece is beautiful and functional, and we couldn't have been happier with the level of service have brought to the project.

Michael has helped me with two different projects - one to help finish a reclaimed wood island and the other to build a unique dining room table and bench. He was a pleasure to work with - from concept through project completion. He is a true artist and takes extreme pride in his work.

Michael Courts is a true craftsman of the type you do not come across to often anymore. His excellent woodworking skills coupled with a great eye for detail make for extraordinary (and unique) furniture pieces. As important for us was the fact that Michael's high-end and modern European style is hard to find in the USA, unless you are willing to pay top dollar. Michael created two vanities (of different types of wood) and a one-of-a-kind fireplace mantel for our 1929 house. All pieces turned out perfect and are a great fit! Ard & Viviane Crebas
