Ward Jewell is one of the best architects I have had the pleasure of working with in my 29 years in construction. We have completed many successful projects with extremely happy customers over the years. Ward's plans are the best I have worked from, he is one of the very few that has thought all aspects of the construction from rough to finish and provides the necessary details that allow builders to complete the work effectively and on budget. Ward is my favorite architect because we can count on having ALL of the necessary information to move through construction quickly in the highest level of quality while staying on budget. This makes our customers very happy.

Every morning when my wife and I get up we look around our home and consider us so lucky to be living in it. It was completed 9 years ago and we love it as much today as when we first moved in to it. It’s everything we could have wanted and more. Ward’s sense of design aesthetic, proportion and attention to detail are evident in every room. Our friends and neighbors often comment how much they enjoy our home and how beautiful it is. It’s a very welcoming place for our family and friends. Many folks, after living in their new home for a while, have a list of things that they wished they had done differently. We have no such list. As I mentioned earlier, Ward’s attention to detail covers everything, even little things like the hinges on the cabinets. He is a very good listener and asked many questions before he came up with his design proposals. Needless to say, we love the home Ward designed for us. He was a real pleasure to work with and made the process a lot of fun.

We have worked with Ward and his team on several projects. They have been the consummate professionals on each project. The completeness, accuracy and level of detail on their design drawings is of the highest caliber. Working with Ward enables us as builders to provide accurate cost estimates and schedules before the project begins as well as keeping the project on time and on budget once the project is underway.

We have used Ward Jewell for numerous remodels and new constructions and in all cases he has been excellent in all aspects. He is creative, thoughtful, detail oriented and, unlike most talented architects, he is flexible. Ward understands his clients desires and works tirelessly to make their vision a reality. My husband and I interviewed many architects before we finally found Ward Jewel to remodel our home. It was a complete gut job. Ward’s attention to detail left no corner unturned. He meticulously designed every detail of the house with incredible vision and commitment to the style and scale of the house. He met with us every week to make sure the project was moving forward as it should and coordinating with the trades involved to answer any questions. He is truly a professional and a visionary. We couldn’t be happier with his work and would highly recommend him.

Our project was a complete gut/remodel of our existing one story house (approximately 2,100 square feet) and the addition of a second story (for a total of approximately 4,000 square feet). Ward is a gifted architect with a special sense of proportion, detail and balance. The result was magnificent. Ward held our hands the whole way through each design phase, and assisted us in selecting appliances, plumbing fixtures and finishes. Ward walked the job site weekly and carefully inspected the work as it progressed. Drake Construction (reviewed separately) teamed with Ward for the project, as they have many times in the past.
