We ordered a wall paper for a client. The wall paper hanger installed most of it, the paper has a glitter pattern, the glitter had smeared off in the printing process and the whole print batch was faulty. Our wallpaper hanger did not know that the smear was a printing mistake so he proceeded as if it was normal. We noticed it. Wallpaper direct, while admitting that the peacock wallpaper from Albany wallpaper was wrong, they will not reimburse the labor cost for our wall paper. Meanwhile they had us wait several weeks for an answer, blaming it on the manufacturer. Now they are offering us a meager 20% discount for us to select a new wall paper. They sold a damaged item and caused us hundreds of dollars. Yes, they have a clause on their website to inspect the wallpaper, and we did. The print fault was visible once the paper was up.
This is awful at best!
