0/10 Stars! Vue Windows will take your money and never deliver! Took a 4000$ of deposit from me back in October 2022 and still have not delivered anything to this day. After taking my money he never once picked up my phone calls and only answers by text sporadically with excuses with no proof to back up anything he says. Ive asked him to refund me my deposit several times and he refuses. For the last year he claims to have ordered my windows and that they are sitting in a warehouse but has never given me any proof that this is true. Ive asked multiple times for documentation invoice, proof of order, packing slip and always responds with vague excuses and tells me he will deliver soon. I've also tried to pick them up myself multiple times from his warehouse/supplier and pay the difference with no luck. He uses 2 different company names on his invoice. I've called both of them to find out what was going on. One company (based in Woodbridge, ON) claims to have no idea who he is, and the other (Ottawa, ON) has no proof/record of orders with my name, address, phone number as well as the invoice number he had provided me.

At this point, I believe that it is our duty to inform others of our experience with this charlatan, in hopes that others will avoid being conned and losing $thousands. We have taken Dennis Andrew Walker & “Vue Windows” to Small Claims Court (SC21001597910000), we have been awarded a default judgement against him, and we will continue to aggressively pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the Law. Dennis Andrew Walker seems very personable and darn it, you just want to believe him when you speak with him. He can be extremely sweet & kind when he thinks that it is in his best interest to act that way, but beware, there is a vicious side to him when you start getting cranky about the ways he keeps on not showing up for the actual installation appointments. Don’t be fooled by his “nice-guy” persona when he is selling you, it is all part of his MO. After multiple skipped installation dates we had politely asked, which later grew to demands, to be shown proof that he even ordered the glass from his suppliers. He gave all sorts of excuses, none of which made logical sense, he contradicted himself, and it became evident that he was saying what worked at the moment with little regard for truth. There is ZERO proof that he ordered any glass from suppliers, and even when he could have provided evidence to the Small Claims Court disputing our allegations of this being a potentially criminal con (we have also been in contact with the Ottawa Police regarding Dennis Walker) he produced absolutely zero evidence to save himself. Obviously one can only surmise in such circumstances that this is sufficient evidence of fraud. He lists two addresses that he claims to be the locations of his “business”; the 1638 Cyrville Rd. Unit 5 from his website, and 126 Willowlea Rd., Carp, Ontario K0A 1L0 as printed on his invoices. These addresses are confirmed to be fraudulent after attempting to serve Dennis Walker & Vue Windows only to discover that he has not operated from either location in several years. I have requested that he provide proper legal addresses and he has evaded every attempt. He did not file a legal defence which would have required him to provide a legal address for service. Finally, he was served when he showed up for a fake quote request that we set up as a decoy, which was the only way to meet him as he is skilled at evading people. There is much that can be said about how Dennis Walker has not been truthful to us, evaded us, and the numerous chances we gave him to redeem himself, but there is simply no point. If you are contemplating hiring him for a Windows project, I would recommend avoiding him at all costs from our horrendous experience.

In reality i should have selected ZERO stars. Dealing with this company and its owner was an exercise in total frustration due to unexplained delays over several years, and ultimately dishonesty. A particular product was promised and we were repeatedly told our windows had been ordered. In reality, no order was ever placed. We sought return of our deposit and it was denied. Our advice: do not do business with this company or its owner. You will lose money and get lousy, actually more likely, no service and no satisfaction. If you have time for endless round-around and misrepresentation, this company is for you. The box below requires listing of a completion date. There was no completion date. In fact there was no actual project start date. Project start times were promised multiple times over several years but nothing was ever actually done to initiate the project. We tried to visit the physical location of the company and found out that the company was no longer at that address. No 'new' location was ever identified.

Dennis was amazing to work with from consult to installation. He’s years of experience was appreciated by the new homeowner as far as choosing the right products for my home and respecting my budget. I look forward to having more services provided by Vue Windows in the future! Tara

Would definitely recommend Dennis Walker’s services. Initially had windows installed through NuView renovations nearly 20 years ago and true to their word, the warranty was upheld when I experienced problems with them earlier this year! Service is prompt, professional and exceptional.

My wife and I have used Dennis Walker and his company, Vue Windows, to design, construct, and install a Arts and Crafts style sun room. We are extremely happy with his work and with his professionalism and dedicated interest in ensuring we were satisfied with his work and with the built quality of the sun room. We also used Dennis and his company to install an architecturally different and interesting front entrance door, and also have ordered windows and a garage side door to complement what he has already done. We would highly recommend Dennis Walker and his company to others for work they might be considering for a sun room or addition or for windows and door. We will also be using Dennis and Vue Windows in the near future to design, install and finish our kitchen and our master bathroom. Dennis Walker is a consummate professional and master craftsman who is dedicated to his work and to ensuring his clients are happy with what he does for them. He is very knowledgeable about products and their installation, and he is very aware of costs and budgets.
