I'm very happy to recommend Valter and his team at Happy Building who designed, planned and completed the work on my extension and home refurbishment during 2021. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the work was completed to a high standard. Great team to work with. I am happy with the service provided by the happy building. We have our extension and refurbish project with happy building early this year. They have helped to provide service for a council planning application and party wall advice all the way. - Clear payment instructions and schedule. - Transparent of the project schedule and budget The builders are helpful and hardworking. We have a 1:1 review meeting with the senior management regarding the project management and issues with the project as well to adjust the concern during the project.

Our project involved side and rear extensions, complete re-wiring, insulation of roof and eves, refurbishment, internal and external decorations, terrace patio and garden landscape, front driveway. We have a six bedroom Edwardian house. We were very pleased with the project management from start to finish. There was good comunication between us and the Team. They offered practical creative and inovative solutions when we faced challenges during the building process. The Team were always professional polite, curteous and helpful. They were incredibly hardworking and committed to making our project successful. We have recommended Happy Building to family and friends and would certainly recommend the to others.

Happy Building related our front drive, rebuilt and amended the front wall including 2 double electric gates and a garden fence, and associated lighting. Valter and Jennie at Happy Building did a great job. They kept me informed, worked out challenges and issues on the site quickly and efficiently and delivered a lovely set of improvements to our house. I would have no problem in recommending them.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Happy Building. My project was a two storey extension and complete refurbishment of a house that had barely been updated since the 1950’s. From our opening meeting we built up an excellent relationship with Valter and this continued through the entire build. The work started on time and over a six month project only ran a couple of weeks over the scheduled end date which is pretty impressive. We were lucky to have Brigen as our foreman – he’s hugely experienced and nothing was too much bother for him. I’d be lying if I said there weren’t ups and downs over the course of the build but that’s to be expected; the end result is fantastic and we’re so thrilled to now be living in our dream home. My wife and I looked on mybuilder.com to find a builder for our house renovation. Valter was very impressive on his initial visit with some exciting ideas for the house improvements and we had no hesitation in choosing Happy Building above the other two building firms who quoted. This was the deciding factor even though the other firms' quotes came in at a lower price. It quickly became clear that Happy Building are also very experienced design consultants and they spent a long time with us working on the detail, look and feel of how the house would look after the renovation. Detailed plans in CAD enabled us to evaluate the options which was a huge help for a pair of non-creatives Having signed off on the budget and scope of work, Valter's team of builders arrived. We were hugely impressed with the skill, experience and work ethic of the team; the fact that they arrived early each morning smiling underlined the "Happy Building" epithet; Jarek, the site foreman, had an especially cheery demeanour. We continued to live in the house during the two month project and the team were happy to work around us. The work involved stripping the walls back to bricks, removing walls, reinforcing foundations, plastering, extending the bathroom and removing one bedroom to create a large ensuite bedroom. The latter certainly would not have been done without Valter's vision and patience in explaining how it would look. We were kept informed at each stage of the process and consulted on any important decision which was most welcome and made us feel part of the project management process. We were able to deviate from the original plans without any problem which was very important in achieving the final look which we had desired. Valter was very careful in sticking to time and budgets which I had never experienced before with builders. We felt like we were working with a team that wanted to create the best look and feel possible and took genuine pride in their work and output rather than treating us as another project to be finished within an arbitratry timeframe which suited the firm. The kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, living room and hallways were finished to the highest possible specification within our budget. There were one or two small features which, with hindsight, we would have improved such as door handles and shower fittings, however this was down to us not specifying exactly what we wanted. These are very minor details and a tiny part of the overall picture. In summary we are exceptionally pleased with the work Valter, Jarek and the team did and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them; indeed we are recommending them to ourselves for a follow-up project of upgrading our conservatory next spring! At the end of the project we were given some "Happy Building" mugs which say, "You Dream it. We build it." For us a more appropriate summary would be, "You and us dream it. We build it.". We are very satisfied customers and would be more than happy to have anyone in our area considering home improvements or renovations come over to our house and look at Happy Building's work.
