Great concept to help when you are at the planning stages of building your home or renovating. They have all suppliers in one place and you just need to circle the number of the stand that interests you to get the relevant information.

We have used U.S. Home Design Build for two renovation projects, and we are quite pleased with the results of both. The first, and larger, project involved a two-story addition to the back of the house, which produced a much larger kitchen than what we had before, as well as a store room/workshop on the ground floor below. We are especially delighted with our new kitchen. In addition to the overall favorable results of the project, I would specifically mention three aspects of this company’s work. One is the quality of the carpentry and other craftsmanship. The pantries in the kitchen, for example, have shelving exactly the way we wanted, and the wood trim in the rest of the kitchen exhibits excellent fit and finish. A second attribute is Min Yi’s determination to get details of the project correct and to do whatever he needs to do to make sure any possible deficiencies are corrected. An issue came up during the kitchen project, for example, regarding the size of the main sink being installed. Min worked with the granite fabricator to make a correction and give us exactly the kind of sink and counter we wanted. Third, Min offers his own good ideas and will take the initiative to improve the finished product in ways that we, the homeowners, may not have thought of. He had his crew completely reset two of the windows in the kitchen, for example, to center them exactly in the spaces they occupy between cabinets. The exact location of the windows is not something we had thought of or would have made an issue of, but we agree that the result after the resetting is aesthetically superior. Being pleased with the kitchen project, we later turned to U.S. Home Design Build for a separate renovation of the master bedroom suite, which involved a complete remodeling of the bathroom and a rearrangement of walls to create a new enlarged walk-in closet with new counters and cabinets. Again, we are very happy with the result. Min’s crew successfully overcame several challenges regarding plumbing and piping that became apparent only after the old walls were demolished. Based on our experiences with both these projects, we can recommend U.S. Home Design Build without reservation.

US Home Design Build proved to be an outstanding choice for my wife and I to custom build a high quality, two story addition (four season sunroom and covered patio) onto our 1968 colonial style home in Fairfax County, Virginia. Our vision for such an addition was to involve the meticulous planning, design and construction of a highly custom, expanded living space, utilizing the finest materials, fixtures and hardware. The design was conceived to appear wholly integrated into the existing architecture of the residence; as if built at the time of the home’s construction. After interviewing a variety of custom builders, we chose US Home Design Build. Simply stated, we were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and reputation of US Home Design Build, along with their representatives Mr. Sean Brennan and Mr. Min Yi. From the outset, the project proved challenging, yet Min Yi and his crew never failed to provide us with impeccable quality of craftsmanship and a conscientious work ethic. Min would frequently suggest practical improvements to the design, construction and associated hardware of the ongoing project; all at no increase in cost. Min always listened carefully and never failed to satisfy my every concern and stated objective. Even unavoidable delays (associated with third party design and construction of elaborate custom windows and doors) never disrupted the focus, momentum or morale of US Home Design Build. The project was completed flawlessly; on schedule and on budget. My wife and I could not be happier. We now have the four season sunroom and patio of our dreams, thanks to Min and his crew.

I would highly recommend this company. We had an addition put on our house and it looks like it's always been there. Min was extremely helpful and professional. He was here almost everyday making sure everything was done the way we wanted it.

We did our kitchen and master bathroom remodeling with US Home. We enjoyed working with them. Workers were friendly and very professional and we willl definelty call them for our future projects.

We are extremly satisfied with a great job buliding our home addition. We always wanted more space so they helped us from designing, selecting materials to construction of our project. We added more living room, bathroom, laundry room & a master suite. Project took about 4 month to complete. During these time, US Home crews were very professional. They had cleaned the jobsite daily, and looked into even small details of finishes. The workers were very skill trademans. Its a worth a good investment hiring them.

We definitly recommend US home construction because we trust their work and they know what they are doing. They remodeled our entire house; kitchen, bathrooms, floorings & painting in jan 2013. They guided us throughout the entire design process until the last day of work and we can't say enough about how awesome our experience was. Their price was a bit higher than some other contractors but we chose them becuase i was impressed with how organized they were. It was worth the extra investment we made in hiring them.

We hired US Home Construction for a home addition and kitchen remodel. We bumped out the kitchen 22'x12' and completely remodeled it from subflooring up, we added a 10x10 office, and a 18x14 screen porch. We spent several years talking to various companies and looking a various designs. We felt the best about US Home Construction and their willingness to work with us, the price they quoted, and the references we received. US Homes lived up to our expectations. They were on time, professional, and delivered excellent results. Min Yi, principal in the company, designer and lead project manager was onsite daily. We developed a good working relationship/partnership. His team became an extension of the family and our boys and dogs were sad to see them go when the project was finished. I would certainly recommend US Home Construction to my friends and family and will use them again in the future for new projects.

U.S. Home Construction is a top notch company. They built a beautiful addition on my home in Arlington, VA. Every day they left the area neat and clean. The owner, Min, was very responsive and helplful and offered great suggestions. He followed up on everything and ensured the job went smoothly along the way. I highly recommend this company.

US Home Construction was one of four companies we invited to propose for the renovation of our two bedroom unit in the Belle View Condominium in Alexandria built in about 1950. The condo reconstruction would include complete overhaul of the kitchen to include a pass through to the dining room, a redesign of a small out dated bath, relocation of the electrical panel, bamboo flooring, trim and new paint throughout. Their proposal was not the lowest but the most comprehensive with great attention to detail and quality that made our selection relatively easy. Their designer made updating the bath and kitchen a visible rather than a mental exercise, doing a great job of capturing our ideas and adding her experience to insure that the drawings worked. Their suppliers had really great quality materials (solid wood and premium hardware cabinets, and granite counters) that were much more affordable than what we had been looking at on our own and again adding options that on our own we would not have thought to use. The crews that did the work were courteous, professional, and made our project easy on the neighbors, all of whom were appreciative that the workers were out before the end of day. The work started after 8 AM and the crews were out and had cleaned up by 5:30 PM every day. US Home Construction met the original schedule and cost proposal.
