Update My Stairs

Mike was very professional in his services. He did provide another company he works with for the refinishing of the stairs. Both companies competed their work in an excellent manner. Would highly recommend Mike to update your stairs.

I had my balusters updated from wood to wrought iron. Michael and his crew were the best! They did FANTASTIC work and left no mess. We are very satisfied with the job that was done and highly recommend Update My Stairs.

Update My Stairs gave us a quote on revamping our stair railings. They were quick to respond, on time, and provided a written quote in a fast turn around. I am in the Architecture and Design industry, their dialog was very knowledgeable. I wanted to hire them - but in the end chose not to do metal railings and go with wood. I offered to hire them, and they honestly replied that it would be less expensive for me to work directly with one of their contacts. I thought that was very mature and responsible. I would recommend them.

Initiation: Very professional and customer service focused. Made the initial call to Michael and he was at my home the next day taking measurements. Had the quote back the same day. Also appreciated the fact Michael brought examples and made good design recommendation. Didn't try to sell me the highest priced option. Drawings were included in the quote. Installation: Job was done in the exact time quoted. No mess left behind and all the new spindles were pre-cut. Workmanship was good. During the install, they even ran to Menards to get touch up stain for my bottom stair as the stain was fading a bit. Post install: I noticed a couple spindles had a minor blemish. Michael was out the next stay repairing the blemish. In addition, he checked all the spindles to ensure they remained secure. Also, noticed him meticulously touching up the stain at the bottom of some of the spindles. Highly recommend Michael and his team.

Ryan replaced all my 25 year old wooden balusters with oil rubbed bronze steel ballusters. He also provided and installed riser and tread oak caps for the entire foyer stairway. In addition he was able to transform the annoying squeaky stairs to a silent joy. I would recommend Ryan to everyone looking to update their stairs. Our foyer really pops when you enter. Thanks Ryan!
