As a custom high-end builder of luxury swimming pools and spas, Drakeley Pool Company is thrilled to have a robust working relationship with Tara Vincenta and the Artemis team. We have collaborated on a number of high-stake projects together. One project that immediately comes to mind is a coastal setting in which Tara spearheaded a complete overhaul of a seaside home and where our firm executed a full-glass tile pool with a vanishing edge and exterior spa. The physical parameters for this project - which was within yards of the water - left no room for error. Tara has a keen eye for the livability of spaces, both outdoor and indoor, paying attention to details that will speak to the comfort and relevance of a space for years. The project was extremely successful and the results were, in a word, stunning. A second project of note is a country estate in Litchfield County, CT, where we installed a vanishing edge pool with interior spa. Tara worked closely with the client to achieve not only the desired aesthetics in the pool hardscape and surrounding landscaping, but also the realization of a luxurious multi-story pool house, a state-of-the-art treehouse for the family's children, and a full zip-line course in the surrounding tree line. The expansive project was precisely executed with great respect for the client's home environment and the integrity of the natural space. Over the past 5 years we have been fortunate to work with the brilliant and savvy Landscape Architect, Tara Vincenta, Owner of Artemis Landscape Architects, located in Fairfield County, CT. From the very beginning of our relationship, we were impressed with Tara's creative ingenuity with our property–as it is a challenging plot of land with wetlands and sloping hills. Tara's first job was conceiving a master plan, which was not an easy task. From 500ft. long rock walls, terraced gardens to french country inspired courtyards, Tara and her team delivered on our dream. Just last year we completed an extensive project which included a natural pool. We had heard about natural pools largely constructed in Europe and in Australia, but not much was happening in the US. We wanted to change that. In a partnership with Artemis Landscape Architects, we set out to construct a pool like no other! With Tara by our side, watching every detail, we had an all-star team who understood our design, construction goals and our vision for our property. We are thankful everyday to have met Tara, and so is our home and property. Because of Tara's landscape vision, our natural environment has been enhanced. The plants, tree's, dogs, birds, bee's, chickens, ducks, rabbits and frogs are excited to live within the oasis of beauty she has created and so is our family. There is no one better.
