Trillium designed a landscape for my backyard that includes everything I wanted and more. I have decided that I do not want a lawn The plantings will be done this Spring but a Maple was delivered and planted in the Fall .It looks great.

I've been lucky to have Michael and Trillium work on my yard for a couple of years. They are responsive to my changing needs and I so appreciate their flexibility. From mulching to dealing with "critters", from perfect grooming to severe (or gentle) pruning, they do it all and do it well. This past fall, Trillium Gardens landscaped both my front, back and side yards. Michael Spence was a pleasure to work with on this project. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for and, in turn, received a beautiful landscape plan for my property. Michael was always available to answer my email questions in a timely manner. I hired Michael.... a very knowledgeable and professional landscaper. Great background with a degree in Horticulture and experience managing the shrubbery/tree department at Strange’s Nursery for some time. He designed a beautiful garden for my Fan home...complete with drawings and descriptions of every plant and shrub. I have retained Michael and his crew for maintenance on a monthly basis. They built a wonderful raised bed at the front of my house this year...and I am very happy with the result! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful group of professional landscapers! Reasonably priced, dependable and very competent!

Michael and staff are always so polite and professional. We have 2 service maintenance contracts (mowing, trimming, pruning, gardening, poison ivy, pathways) with them and they always deliver quality work. One of the sites has poor access and they were able to work around it, where other contractors flat out told us "no". We were also able to edit and add to our needs in the middle of the busy season and they did everything they could to accommodate our request. They also take extra time when requested to do additional items. We switched to Trillium and got a better deal and higher quality result. We have been working with them for over 2 years now and they continue to deliver quality and professionalism.

I can't say enough about how happy we are with Michael and his crew. Our yard was quite an overwhelming mess but is now beautiful and inviting. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to post a review about Trillium Gardens, Michael, and Michael's crew. When you're done reading this, please look at the pictures in the album called "King William Country Retreat"! Last December I was looking for a Landscaping company to help me with augmenting and expanding my gardens, and advice on what we could do for our lawn - which was basically all dirt with some weeds. I called Colesville Nursery and asked for a recommendation, and without any hesitation, they said I should call Michael. I told Michael what I was looking to do, and he said he would send out a member of his team to talk with me, evaluate our property, and ultimately develop a plan and estimate to meet our goals. Not long after that Jason came out and we talked at great length as we walked around my yard and gardens. He listened and made extensive notes, taking his time to be very thorough. Two weeks later I had a cost estimate for materials and labor in my email box from Michael. All aspects of what Jason and I discussed were reflected in the estimate, and I agreed to all charges and the timing to have the landscaping completed. Yard work and garden preparations were scheduled for two days in February 2019, and they finished the planting, tidying up, and mulching two days in the middle of March, 2019. Michael and his team are not only professional with a strong work ethic, they are friendly, fun, and kind! My husband is in the middle stages of dementia and he wanted to do something to help the crew with the work they were doing, so the guys just took him under their wings and let him shovel mulch into their wheelbarrows the last day they were here. I can't tell you how awesome these guys are!!! Lastly, let me say: do yourself a favor and have these guys handle your plant choices and landscaping for you.....you will never have a better experience with any other business out there...GUARANTEED!!

We hired Michael and his team to get our yard ready so we could take photos to put our house on the market. He worked quickly within the deadline, required very little direction and our 1/2 acre looked amazing! We received several compliments from our neighbors.
