We are so thrilled with the work that Trade Design Studio did for our Meridian Kessler renovation. Melissa reimagined our entire second floor, and it is beautiful and so much more functional. She is professional, creative, and understands how to incorporate fresh ideas into historical homes. I would highly recommend TDS for any architectural project.

Trade Design Studio went above and beyond in every facet of our project. They know our neighborhood very well and from the initial design conference forward they did an awesome job blending our personal style and preference with the features and flavors of the homes around us. While some modern homes are making their way into our neighborhood, we made a conscious choice to work with TDS because we knew they could keep our new home rooted in the traditional style of the older ones that would neighbor it. Though we knew some of what we wanted, we depended on Trade Design to present options that might fill anticipated needs and introduce design features that we would not previously have considered. They were incredibly responsive to our feedback and seemed to know when to push a new idea - and when to leave it behind if we weren't convinced. Finally, even after we broke ground there were several issues that required their immediate attention or input, including one room that needed a redesign inside of a day to meet the builder's schedule. They accommodated these needs expediently, gracefully and graciously. The house we have is a masterpiece as a result of their careful guidance. It's hard to imagine a better design experience than we had with Trade Design.

We hired Trade Design Studio to design our new home. Melissa and Eric were excellent to work with. Not only are they highly professional and trust-worthy, but also very talented and good at what they do. At our first meeting with Melissa and Eric, we sat down for about an hour and they asked us questions about what we liked, our lifestyle, and how we wanted to use the space. We also shared our Houzz photos with them so they could get an idea of the style we liked. When we met again a few weeks later, Melissa shared four different design variations and we immediately knew we had chosen the right architects. All four designs were beautiful and really fit exactly what we were looking for. We picked our favorite from the four and after a couple of tweeks we were off to the races with our builders! Now that the house is complete, we love living in it. We get compliments all the time and people slowing down as they pass by just to look at it. I highly recommend Trade Design Studio and would hire them again without hesitation.

Working with Melissa and Eric was a great move for me…… I normally complete rehab projects on my own as I have been completing projects for many years and I love creating great end products from distressed properties. I found myself too busy with my full time job and could not find the time to complete my current project and really was willing to sit on it and wait until I had the time to complete the project, as I am particular with how things get done, as well as being able to save money ensuring that the right subcontractors get selected at the right price with the expected quality. I have worked with a few individuals that worked with Melissa on some past projects, and I knew Melissa, Ryan and Eric personally, and they suggested I talk to Melissa about completing my project so it would not continue to drag on and on and on……. And I could actually move into my house completed and not have to live “under construction” as I normally do on long projects like this one was going to turn out to be…… So that being said, Melissa and Eric met with me to get a feel for what I was expecting the final outcome to look like; discuss budgets and price points on finishes; create a timeline for completion; and before I knew it the project was on its way again with good momentum and good project management oversight. The end product is fabulous and I could not have been happier even if I completed it myself. I would recommend them to my family and close friends (and I do) because I am confident that they will also be happy with the results and outcome. Amos........

We hired Trade Design Studio to update exterior siding and trim, update interior trim, add a master bath and connect the second floor of our 90 year old home to space above the detached garage. We are so happy with everything. The second floor "bridge" and the over the garage space are our favorite rooms in the house.

We used Trade Design Studio to redesign the main floor of our 120 year old house. The home was dark with many small rooms, and Trade Design Studio opened it up and made bright and airy. It now feels like home! We loved working them on our home and had a wonderful experience. They were very creative and came up with several floor plans and always wanted to know our thoughts and ideas. We would hire Trade Design Studio again in a second. I highly recommend them.
