I have moved many times and frequently sought the help of interior designers, however, Victoria is different than most decorators I have worked with. First, she is a consummate professional. She responds quickly to emails and requests. She was patient with me and kept finding options until I was satisfied. A true interior designer curates choices for clients, which I appreciate in Victoria’s approach. For our master bathroom renovation we met in her lovely office. Victoria had three different options with tile samples and a spreadsheet with names of tiles, sources and prices. It made the decision making process so much easier. Victoria has many other talents that I appreciate. She has exquisite drafting skills, that she uses to effectively communicate her ideas. Her creative solutions to projects and beautiful furniture and furnishing selections reflect her talents in European and modern design. She also has an abundance of unique sources, some from Europe, that are still very affordable. My husband and I are so happy with our renovated home. I look forward to working with Victoria on the next phase of our project.

Victoria Kirk helped me decorate my apartment. She is talented and wonderful to work with. She worked within my budget to find unique pieces, which have made my apartment beautiful and comfortable. She has a fantastic sense of style and was also flexible and able to work with my suggestions as well. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is a fabulous interior designer.

I have worked with Victoria for several years now, having redecorated a MBR, dining room and family room in my house, along with completely decorating a new 4 bedroom apartment. She is absolutely amazing. Her keen design skills, coupled with her extensive experience makes any task she undertakes a guaranteed success. I've worked with other designers over the years, but hopefully, won't have to do so in the future!

Victoria Kirk is a wonderful designer. She has excellent, modern taste and works with many sources, some super pricey and some less so. She has excellent understanding of color and design. I love how she combines modern and new pieces with vintage pieces to create a warm and unique space.

Victoria Kirk Interiors came to our rescue when we decided to replace our existing traditional fireplace with a Swedish fireplace insert. It proved to be a more complicated design project than we had originally envisioned, and they guided us through a complex series of choices with patience and expertise. They designed the surrounding mantle and hearth to reflect a more modern scheme better suited to our insert. They worked very well with a vast array of contractors and builders, kept within our budget, and met our deadline. The new fireplace has changed our family room dramatically. We could not be happier with our end result and credit them with transforming this area of our home into a more stylish and sophisticated one.

Victoria helped us to furnish a new home in the country so we were able to start with a blank canvas in a 6 bedroom house. She also was critical in giving kitchen a much needed facelift by selecting new modern backsplash/wall tiles and selecting cabinet colors to match existing counter tops. Victoria helped to give a fabulous bright and modern face to the home, as the prior tenant had a taste in darker colors for walls and upholstery. Victoria was also critical in tastefully modernising our two main living spaces (fireplace and family rooms) and selecting a contemporary wallpaper for our powder room (which guests always complement). She helped to weave in a couple of pieces of other furniture we inherited with new furniture, guiding us along each step of the way (who knew how many stuffing and fabric options existed for new sofas). We never encountered any hiccups in the process as she recommended reliable professionals, and helped us to make selections to stay within budget. We loved her attention to detail and are hoping to hire her again for an apartment we plan to move into next year.

Victoria Kirk has a masterful eye and a style that easily blends european elegance with modern classics. Through her upbringing and training, she is able to draw on a wealth of resources, which makes her designs highly adaptable to a range of settings, from an urbane New York townhouse to a suburban home for family living to a weekend retreat. She can style any space with curatorial precision, yet her rooms that I love best have a quiet, harmonious beauty, as if they came together naturally, without the obvious hand of a decorator. Fuss-free and efficient to work with, she always nudges me to be bolder than I think I can go. As such, hiring her is as much a tutorial in great design as it is a guarantee of livable rooms with a modern sensibility.

I hired Victoria Kirk for design services for a newly purchased 1950's house that we were renovating inside and out. Our long time house had been heavily damaged in a microwave fire, and was under lengthy reconstruction. We had decided to renovate that house for sale, and to downsize by purchasing the house that Victoria would design. So, we presented Victoria with a number of tough challenges: -our old house was large and we had oodles of furniture, many of them cherished "family " antiques but a mixed bag of styles and too many to be accommodated in the smaller new place despite my sentiment, -due to the fire, this furniture was sitting in a storage warehouse and the old house was a construction site, so there were no examples of my prior living space to review to get a sense of my taste, -mobility issues for some family members required design consideration, and -we were living in a hotel due to the fire and VERY anxious to move in. We asked Victoria to -chose colors, finishes and patterns for the house inside and out, -completely redesign the kitchen, -turn the master BR, master bath and a second BR into a larger MBR, larger master bath and walk in closet, -choose window treatments, doors, hardware and flooring for the entire house, -convert a traditional one opening woodburning fireplace into a gas fireplace serving two rooms, and -design room layout, including use of our existing furniture and purchase of new items. Victoria rose to every challenge and did a wonderful, amazing job. She chose colors and design features that turned a tired old dog of a house into a charming, beautifully crafted home, incorporating my favorite pieces and strategically choosing new ones for style and comfort. She used her talents not to impose her taste but to figure out my preferences and then make them work aesthetically...and she did it on our fast timeline! Victoria is a talented and resourceful designer, a woman of integrity, and it is a pleasure to work with her! I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Groundplans, Ltd. has been providing rugs and carpets for Victoria and her clients for the past 15 years. She is diligent, honest and has a creative edge. I have watched her unfailingly bring a stunning but understated sensibility to each of her projects. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any interior design job - small or large.
