We were referred to Tom Williams Residential by several neighbors. We used him to complete a kitchen and bathroom addition along with the renovation of our existing space. Six months after completion, we are still very happy with the work that Tom Williams completed. The project was on time (minus the changes we made to the original plans and some unavoidable delays), the pricing was clear and accurate, and any changes to pricing were explained in a way that made us feel comfortable. The quality of the job was excellent, and Tom and Scott (our project supervisor) went out of their way to make sure it was. In the end, what says more than anything, is that we are now friends with Tom and Scott and feel good about recommending both of them to other friends and neighbors.

Tom Williams and his team are consummate professionals. Their approach to construction is highly organized and proactive. Their cost control and communication systems are next level. Our project will come in on budget. More importantly, the end product is outstanding! Our project manager and superintendent, Chad Allen and Mike, his assistant, were a delight to partner with. I felt like I could trust the entire team. It is for these reasons and more that I strongly endorse the Tom Williams brand.

We contracted with Tom Williams for a whole home renovation, including an addition. The experience has been very positive. We are nearly a year post project completion, and have been very satisfied with the results. Our project took approximately 9 months to complete, in line with expectations. Tom and his team, including our Project Manager Scott, held themselves accountable for our project throughout. Anything of this size and length is bound to run into a few surprises. When that occurred, Tom and Scott were personally always available to work through the options and to address in an optimal and collaborative manner. Tom has a very transparent approach to project timelines, progress, and costs, making everything available to us as a client online and real time. Following project completion, Tom and his team have been very diligent on follow up, including warranty items, and any adjustments that have been needed. Even a year later, Tom and his team have been available to inspect and address minor fixes as raised. We would highly recommend working with Tom Williams and his team for any significant home project. They are knowledgeable, networked, flexible and dependable in meeting their commitments.

Tom and his team are the best. We undertook a large and complicated expansion/renovation of our home in 2019. Tom and his entire team exceeded my expectations by a mile. After having Tom remodel our kitchen last year, which we love, we had him turn our deck into a screen porch. A BEAUTIFUL screen porch. We have been very happy with the way everything turned out on our porch. And have really enjoyed being out there eating meals and sitting and relaxing. The craftsmanship of the porch is excellent! No stone left unturned. It’s all about the materials and the details. These are not subpar materials!! Every detail was paid attention to which we appreciate. WE LOVE IT!! Tom Williams Residential was exactly who we needed to bring our 1979 house into the 21 century and beyond. Helping us gut and totally replace both the master and guest bathrooms, replace stippled ceilings with flat ceilings, upgrade builder-grade trim, replace main staircase, and install new hardwood floors throughout has made a huge difference. Adding a front porch and brick landing to our Federal-style "Five, Four and a Door" house not only gives it more character, but protects people and packages from the weather. TWR helped us problem-solve recent supply-chain issues involving our hardwood floors, and paint. Communication was frequent and all-inclusive using the Co-Construct system, and they were attentive to the little details that make all the difference. Successfully working around our project constraints in terms of timeline, the need for our family to completely relocate during the work, and budget, they were able give me the "big girl house" that I've been waiting 18 years for. Very happy with the end result, thanks to Tom and his skilled crew. Their availability to meet on-site, and also get quick feedback was much appreciated. Choosing Tom Williams to handle our home renovation was the very best decision we could have made. We are so happy with the product. And really, we have been so happy with the experience. Tom is a good man who cares about the homes that he transforms, he cares about the families that live in them, and all of that means so much. Just had a full kitchen remodel done. Tom and his crew did an outstanding job from beginning to end. There were a few items to tweak after the job was completed. Those have not fallen by the wayside. Attention to detail is important to Tom as well as myself. We are satisfied enough that we are having Tom do project #2 now.

We had new windows and doors installed, and the trim on the inside of the house. Tom took care of our house as if it was his own. His suggestions helped to transform to overall look of our 50 year old house. In a couple of years I hope to put in a new pavilion type deck and I'm looking forward to Tom's ideas.

We hired Tom Williams to do an addition on the back of our Ranch style home. We were adding a larger family room and the project entailed removing an existing room and our deck. We were very excited but nervous at the same time. Taking down an exterior back wall of my house was a little unnerving for me. Tom was very reassuring that it would be fine and we would love our new space. He was right. We could not be happier with the finished room. You can hardly tell it's an addition. It flows beautifully off the kitchen and the new hardwood floors match the existing room perfectly. Tom managed the entire project and his crew of workers are top notch. They arrive on time. do quality work, and leave the area clean. What I really liked was the ease to communicate with Tom. He returns calls promptly and always replies to texts. Tom is an experienced builder, very knowledgeable and competent. His attention to detail and quality of work are of the highest standards. He finished our project on time and on budget! Our home was dull and tired, a typical 70’s ranch nestled in trees with small windows and lots of wood trim. We knew we would hire Tom from the minute he walked in and said “it’s dark in here, you need to open it up and raise the ceilings!”. He was not the first contractor we met with, but he was the only one who saw the potential in our home. He shared our vision, brought in the right designer and got the job! Wow, did everyone come through! Walls and windows were removed, ceilings raised and our kitchen and living rooms reconfigured to let in the light. Such a difference! Tom manages a skilled crew and has a great relationship with the service companies and suppliers he uses. His project manager was on site early, workmen arrived on time, completed quality work and tidied up afterwards. The cleanest job site we have ever seen! The design, detailed estimate, permits, project plan and timeline were clearly documented and available online. We received weekly project status reports, and as they occurred, updates were photographed and emailed. No nasty surprises! On time, on budget, first quality, first class and five stars all the way!! Tom built my pool house in a very difficult location. He had previously renovated my house. He does fantastic work. I would use no other contractor. He has the highest of standards.

Tom did a complete renovation of my house. He is the consummate professional general contractor and does not take any short cuts while still keeping in mind the budget. He comes up with savings on some items that allow for savings or better finishes on other part of the house or project. After working with Tom, I would only work with Tom on any other project. To the point, he was recommended by my architect who is vey well known not just in Atlanta but across the country. He bid was very competitive, but furthermore you can tell he cares about his client and his project. He does not do anything that he would not be proud of. My house was basically gutted and redone. Walls were moved. Steel beams were put in place for support to open up the kitchen to the great room. The outside porch built with steel beams that you see in commercial buildings. This allowed for an outdoor porch with very high ceilings that were completely open without beams, almost cathedral like but in a residential homey setting. The results were outstanding. My friends and guests are so impressed with the house. But most importantly I am so happy with the final finished project. I am doing another project and I am only using Tom for that. I didn’t even bother getting any other bids. It was a no brainer.

Tom Williams Residential is high quality residential builder who completed our beautiful kitchen renovation with professionalism and craftsmanship. I had the pleasure of working with Tom Williams on a residential renovation that went from very simple to very complex over the almost 2-year lifespan of the project. What started out as simply adding a pool, yoga studio and renovating a kitchen turned into almost completely gutting an early 1990s "contemporary" home and turning it into a sleek, modern beauty with almost every inch of the over 5,000SF footprint touched. It goes without saying that Tom brings a wealth of construction knowledge, but I was truly impressed by his "team" attitude and his willingness to try to source the right products and craftspeople to execute details that are difficult even in new construction, much less a renovation situation. Coming from a commercial architecture background, I know I challenged Tom with some new ideas and details and asked him to do things he had never done before. He met each challenge with a smile and a "can do" attitude. He never complained or just did things "the way he always does", he tried to execute and provide everything I and the client asked for and was more successful that I could have ever imagined. He was a true partner in creating what I consider a beautiful and undeniably successful project. After suffering a major fire at our house we were forced to relocate to a rental house. After dealing with a number of contractors, insurance adjusters etc. I finally asked who had done the rehab on the rental house where we were living. We met Tom and he guided us through the process from finding a top notch architect to constructing us a new home on the existing foundation and utilizing some of the structure which was not damaged by the fire. Total cost of the project was in excess of $750K and the results were spectacular. Ten years later we still get compliments which is a testament to the timelessness and attention to detail that Tom demands from his staff and subcontractors. Before we engaged Tom he was able to take us through his last three projects and meet the homeowners which is almost unheard of in the home construction business. Also, he also was able to have some defective windows replaced by the manufacturer over 5 years after the project was finished. Tom installed and painted the windows at no cost to us. I have used Tom Williams Residential on two project in the last three years and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work, the timely pace of construction and the professionalism of the subcontractors that do the work.

TWR did an excellent for us. The project was a kitchen, master bath and closet renovation. There were a number of things we added such as painting the entire house interior, waxing the hardwood floors without poly, replacing glass in sliding glass doors, building banquettes, and replacing an entire wall unit in the den. Some of these required out of the ordinary research to find the right providers and TWR did an outstanding job in sourcing the right vendors. Project plans and details were provided on a timely basis; the project schedule and budget were adhered too; communications were timely; all project personnel were respectful, courteous and professional. The project manager,Kevin Wilkins, was especially professional and always responsive to our needs.

HIs crew work together and are craftsmen and easy to communicate with. The work has held up and quality materials and workmanship by all.
