Stump Custom Cabinets

Absolutely would not recommend Stump Cabinets. We hired this company to build a wall and 2 book shelf cabinets. They make the cabinets off-site and we lost 4-6 inches of usable width per cabinet because they were not built to fill the complete space. Because the cabinets were not built to fit tightly inbetween the two side walls (which they built), they are barely nailed in to the walls. We are definitely concerned that these cabinets could come out of the wall if someone got on them. The bottom cabinets/doors are not the same width as the top bookcases so not built correctly despite being given specific plans/pictures. The two cabinets didn't match and they had to redo the one side once they were in. They used an electric sander (set the fire alarm off) and didn't cover a brand new big screen tv sitting in the room so dust filled the back of the tv. Tom Stump was basically not involved in the project once the work began.

We have worked with Tom Stump and Stump Custom Cabinets for the last few years and we cannot speak more highly of his work. Our customers are thrilled with his results. Also important, is that he is always on time, if not early on every project. This allows our two companies to work seamlessly together in delivering full kitchen and bath remodels almost as if they are working with one contractor. He is a great communicator and a pleasure to work with.
