* Nice furniture (Tommy Bahama Home, Newport) - so we ordered, and it was delivered to a motor carrier for home 'White glove' delivery in good time. And we paid extra money for that. No problem - so far, so good.
* However, the delivery service received the furniture from Lexington a month ago and they can't tell me when they will deliver it. They say it will probably be another month...really????
So I decided to call the store and complain.
* I talked to Jennifer B. at the store, and she has been very professional and helpful. Kudo's for her.
Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to change anything.
* So after talking to the delivery service a fourth time this month - and them telling me to not call them, they will call me - I called and talked to the store manager to ask for help, and after I aired my grievance, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!
Wow, that's a first... I couldn't believe she did that. Very rude - and completely unacceptable. Don't know how she got that job.
Beware, but good luck if you buy from this store.....
