We moved into an Ertl home in 1998. It was always a great house. We thoroughly enjoyed our Ertl home experience which confirmed Tom’s reputation as a top home builder in out area.We loved it until we decided to ‘go smaller.’ The people that live there now are just as happy as we were.

Ten years ago, my home was built by Tom Ertl in the Vieux Carre subdivision. Having never built a home myself and hearing the many horror stories about the process, Tom assured me that I would enjoy the experience and be totally satisfied. He never let me down! He patiently listened to my desires, offered various options and upgrades, worked with an interior designer and guided me through each step resulting in a custom home which has been my dream home since. His attention to all the fine details as well as his artistic flair certainly resulted in a most unique home. I have been proud to say that I live in an Ertl home, and would recommend Tom (and his excellent crew) to anybody interested in building their personal custom home. In addition, he has always been available to help with even the most minor problems throughout the years. Tom, thanks for a fun and great experience!

Years ago when we were looking to find a builder to build our custom home in Killearn, we looked at numerous builders and we chose Tom because his homes were different from everything else and because of his professionalism and trust. Later, we looked to build a larger home on acreage and we asked Tom to build that home. We love our home, the workmanship and the working relationship with Tom and his great Team. In the future we will be looking to downsize and when we do we will ask Tom for his help on our final custom home. Tom Ertl built our house in 2005. He was a pleasure to work with and the quality of his workers and subcontractors was great. Their workmanship still elicits compliments to this day. The worst mistake we ever made 20 years ago was not having Tom Ertl build our home. The best decision we made 4 years ago was having him do our renovation. Tom helped us with the design and scope of the renovations. He had some great ideas and was willing to look at our lifestyle and interests before he made his suggestions. He was very cost conscious and creative. He kept his men on the job and he made sure things were done right and on time. Tom fixed all the things we did wrong when we first built our home and if we ever build again or do anything else to our home, we will certainly hire Ertl Homes to do the work.
