Recently married, John and I were struggling with how to blend our vastly different styles. We each came to the marriage with our own art, furniture and strong opinions. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we needed help. We are so thankful that we found Ogando Partners. Theresa is incredible. She guided us through a process of deciding which pieces we absolutely had to keep and which we could part with. She took what remained (a hodgepodge if left in our hands), added new pieces of furniture, wood floors, lighting, etc., and created a beautiful and cohesive home that expresses us both individually and as a couple. In addition to being a designer, Theresa is an architect. She put her dual talents to work and gave us some much needed storage space by designing an amazing wall of built-in cabinetry and a home office that’s perfect for two. Besides looking gorgeous, our home has a flow and functionality that we appreciate every day. Theresa is a total professional with the experience and vision to deliver it all.

If you enjoy working with a greater designer, a person with vision, who does what they say they will - when they say they will --- than you will have a great working experience with Ogando's. Living in a townhouse has many pluses & a few minuses, one of course being space. This is why I have used Ogando on two separate occasions. My bath and my kitchen. Kitchen: Ogando’s changed a very plain kitchen and made it a showpiece. I had to be convinced of a few things, but I trusted her vision and professionalism and started. With new elements, granite counter top, sink, some custom cabinets , some wonderful fabrics, etc., this is now one of the best rooms in my home, my guest and I now spend many hours there. Bathroom: Ogando’s took your standard townhouse bathroom and guided me to the right look and feel for my lifestyle and needs. I know have a glamorous room with the right colors, fixtures, etc. Little features like dimmers in a bathroom make this room beautiful. I have recommended her to family now and they too use her.

Theresa is easy to work with. She is a very creative and talented interior designer. She really listened to what I wanted and helped me find smart solutions that worked for me and my budget, rather than pushing everything on me. Very satisfied with the final look.

We engaged Ogando partners (Theresa Ogando) after our contractor engaged her to provide input to a project he did for us. We like her style and hired her for a major redesign of our dining, living, and family room spaces, all including new furnishings, paint schemes, lighting, and window treatments. In addition, she redesigned the mantle over a fireplace in the family room. Ms. Ogando is an excellent "listener" and really understood our taste and preferences. The decisions were highly interactive with no offense taken by either party when a suggestion or choice was not followed, but which ultimately led to a design that was highly satisfactory to us, the homeowners. We also found Ms. Ogando to be highly responsive and was very timely when communicating by phone or e-mail. We would not hesitate to work with her again.

I have had Ogando Partners design 2 kitchens for properties I renovated to sell and they turned out great. There attention to flow really made the homes sell at maximum value.

I had the pleasure of working with Ogando Partners after purchasing a 1950's Cape Cod at the Jersey Shore. The kitchen was in need of a complete remodel and I was at a lost of layout but knew what style I wanted. The team took my style, created a layout that not only works as a functional kitchen but allows me the space to host a large gathering with a large buffet style counter that I hadn't thought about. Making the most out of the space I have the room and look of a professional kitchen and still maintains a family friendly kitchen for family and guest to gather.

Theresa has a wonderful eye with great attention to detail. She is very easy to work with and actually listens while ideas are being formed which is a difficult quality to find in a designer sometimes. We used her for our master bath and although we didn't have a tremendous budget she made the end result look like we did. Our end result is stunning and it came in within the time constraints and the budget. I would not hesitate to use Theresa again.

Ogando partners is a highly skilled and professional design team. I hired this company for a major design project at my house in West Orange and found Theresa a pleasure to work with. First of all she is very knowledgeable about her craft. she listens to you, what you want. With her it's all about meeting the clients needs, while ensuring the "wow" effect every client has come to expect from her. She is detail oriented and focusses on what is important to the client and knows just how to tie it all together. With her it is teamwork. You are involved from the start to the finish.
