Tina gets it! She is very talented and we love the work she did with our vacation home so much that we also chose her for the interior design of our home in Scottsdale. We have been told several times by guests that it is one of the most beautifully decorated homes they have ever seen. HERE IS THE BIG THING- with both projects it was important that the spaces could be comfortably lived in. Tina helped me with a project recovering some aging dining room chairs. Prior to beginning the project, Tina came to my home to get a sense of my taste, style and colors in the room. Subsequent to that visit she brought several fabric samples to my home for me to consider. It was very helpful to see the samples in my dining room so I could gauge the colors in the light of the room. She did a wonderful job of merging my taste and colors that complimented the room. Tina also accompanied me to the fabric warehouse to assist with ordering the fabrics. She coordinated all of the details with an upholsterer including the bid process, pick-up and delivery of the chairs once they were completed. She even came to my home to inspect the finished product and make sure everything was perfect. She is a true professional and I enjoyed working with her. I would definitely recommend Tina for any project, large or small.

I have worked with interior designers before, but never have I had the pleasure to work with someone like Tina! She worked with us for 9 months on a remodel of our bedroom, bathroom and closet and I can honestly say that I do not know what I would have done without her. In fact, I wouldn't have done the remodel at all it if I hadn't found Tina. I am so pleased with the outcome that I never want to leave my new bedroom! She is also now assisting us with a complete remodel of a 1,400 square foot condo, our second home. She is easy to work with, she is prompt, she does what she says she is going to do and very fair in her pricing. She also has great taste and style and finds just the right things at the right price. Tina basically performed a miracle in my home. I had a difficult project that required a tight timeline and specific budget for each room. She pulled this off but also with incredible style and design. She is the most talented and creative person I have ever met. She completely exceeded my expectations. She transformed my empty house into an absolutely beautiful home! Additionally, she made what could have been difficult and challenging work into an enjoyable experience. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with her work. This project for our family's cabin up north was a completely different style. She is so diverse in her ability to create a design perfect for what you need. I love also the way she is sensitive to what your likes are, and keeps you involved to make sure you are happy with everything. I was also completely amazed at her ability to turn something around so quickly. She completed this within ore 3 week timeline, start to finish; and did it with so much creativity. It turned out much better than I ever imagined for the country/cozy look and feel that we were looking for. She completely exceeded my expectations, yet again! I have no hesitation to recommend her for any project. She's an award winning artist and is also great at keeping costs within the budget. A true gem!

We chose Tina after evaluating several designers based on their stated style, flexibility and willingness to accommodate our ideas and budget into their vision. If Tina had a preconceived design template in mind it was never apparent because she is an exemplarily listener with a distinct ability to keep a project on track and within budget. We worked with Tina from planning through implementing the complete remodel of our West Valley home. Beginning with the initial design collaboration, Tina was our lantern and guide into and out of the ‘dark woods’ of contractor, vendor and material choices through final paint color options. We now have a home with a classic design with a modern edge that will remain stylistically relevant, comfortable and functional for many years. A particularly important reason we hired a designer was to save money because with a skilled eye, a designer with Tina’s particular set of skills saves time and money by keeping the home owner from getting too creative leaving a disjointed, pieced together appearance. Tina gave us a put-together look without appearing over-designed and narrowly stylized which achieves the owner’s goal and maintains resale-ability. Redesigned a foyer/small garden by the basement elevators. Had it painted, added plants, trees, flowers, rocks and made it beautiful! It really changed our view.

Tina is the ultimate professional. She has the innate ability to take a seemingly impossible task and transform it in ways one would never have dreamed of! You just have to see her work ( especially the "before" and "after" pictures) to believe it.

Tina Mellino is a professional interior designer with her eye on details. As a photographer, having an interior designer to make the scene beautiful is a time saver. Many of the photos I took for her needed little to no editing because of the perfect lighting setup and arrangements of elements.

I have had the great joy of working with Tina on several projects in our Arizona home and a total redo of the interior and exterior of our Mexico home. Tina transformed the outdoor living areas in both locations and did so with great imagination and a watchful eye for comfort, perfection and promptness. One of our biggest projects together was a total remodel of our theater. What had been a catastrophe is now my favorite room in the house. Tina was very creative and meticulous with every detail. With Tina, the client is the number one priority. She respects the client's wants and needs, and the way they live and entertain in the project area. Tina staged a home that I listed for sale. It was a complete disaster, full of stuff, the owner did not want and not ready to show to a perspective buyer.
