Adam from the Workshop Brighton said he would return our £3000 deposit for a staircase after seeing little to no progress or materials and stating he could not do the work. but after much time and requests he has not. And does not answer anymore. Regrettably while seeming very capable we are now in a situation where we have lost money and I would not recommend you use their services. Should this deposit be returned I will update this review but at this time it has not.

I've worked with Adam and the The Workshop team a few times now and they have always done an excellent, professional job. They take a lot of pride in the work that they do and also a lot of pride in making sure you are 100% happy with the work that they've done. We would 100% recommend them and will definitely be working with them again at some point in the future!

Adam is a very creative individual - with a keen eye for use of space combined with excellent technical and execution skills. We used him for all the carpentry work to help transform a 3 bedroom apartment. He designed a series of creative and attractive looking shelving units combined with a range of varied storage solutions for the Living Areas, Hallways and bedroom. Our apartment was small and we wanted to create a more open and spacious feel - whilst finding ways to maintain storage. The pandemic created some tough execution/operational issues - that affected the delivery. He was very conscientious at ensuring the work was completed to good standard We hope to work with Adam again for the Master Bedroom later this year.

Adam and his team did an amazing job on our Understairs. They designed bespoke storage that transformed a dark cupboard into draws and storage that we use every day. Highly recommend! Excellent customer service, prompt, good communication and a good price point.

I cannot rate Adam and The Workshop highly enough. Our bespoke made kitchen is perfect - exactly what we wanted - but more importantly Adam was a joy to work with. Incredibly helpful, relaxed, flexible from the start, nothing was too hard, he gave us great ideas but also put our ideas into amazing designs. Everything happened on time, as planned, and communication was great throughout. I highly recommend!

Excellent approach and willingness to listen and develop ideas. Due to the unique nature of the project unforseen problems were quickly and cheerfully overcome. After sales service was good. Clean up and tidiness not of the best but overall I would use again.

We initially asked Adam from The Workshop to quote for a very small project to build some shelving in our utility area. Adam immediately understood our budget constraints and what it was that we were trying to accomplish. He also took our original thoughts and improved them. We were also planning on building a walk-in wardrobe as well, however had intended to use another company, which whilst we liked the concept we weren’t completely sure about it and so asked Adam to have a look at this as well. A wardrobe is personal and needs to be functional. Adam took our very loose ideas and translated this into something we loved and only needed the slightest of changes. We were so pleased that we asked him to proceed with both projects. The pride he takes in his work is justified. The quality is exceptional. Finding a joiner who can deliver such quality is a challenge and can be a leap of faith, Adam and The Workshop are worth that leap.

Having worked alongside Adam and his team on my recent project , I can highly recommend his work. He provided a large number of bespoke joinery pieces for a sussex barn conversion, with exceptional levels of detail. Adam is passionate about his work, and as a fellow carpenter he’s been a joy to work with, full of ideas and solutions. He will now be my ‘go to’ joiner for all upcoming projects.

I have worked along side the workshop team on many jobs now and would not hesitate in reccomending Adam and the team for any work . I decorate the bespoke furniture on site and the guys make my job so much easier with the high standard finish that they produce . Every detail is covered, the guys are reliable , courteous , punctual and tidy . I hope to be working along side these guys for years to come as I always know that the jobs are completed to the highest standard .

Adam designed, manufactured and installed our bespoke plywood and Formica kitchen in 2018. From the start Adam was patient, knowledgeable, creative and understood our brief perfectly. He respected our choices and did not complain when we asked to make changes to the design. The materials he used were of exceptional quality and the fit and finish of the kitchen is perfect. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received throughout the whole process and love spending time in our new beautiful space.

Their work is top quality, we’ve worked with them in various projects, great guys and I believe that they are one of the best in the market in terms of the Design, build quality and finishing of the projects, highly recommended.

This recommendation is made with the prior statement that the principal of The Workshop is my son. However this actually means I am far more difficult to please than any normal client. So having made my relationship clear let me now thoroughly recommend he Workshop as a supplier of bespoke cabinetry and carpentry work. The Workshop completely renovated my Grade II listed apartment in Hove in what was a very complex and difficult project. Whilst the schedule was affected by the kind of surprises one finds in renovating a 190 year old property, these were dealt with as they arose and The Workshop took care of finding the necessary specialists in each case and in general, making the process really as care free for myself as possible.
