Awesome flooring products! We have ordered from this company mass amounts of hardwood. Just ordered another 5000 square feet of new heart pine! Can wait for it to get here!!!

I recently purchase 420 square feet of 3 3/4" salvaged heart pine flooring from Interstate Flooring to install in my Craftsman home in New Orleans. Donnie (the owner) was incredibly quick to respond to both emails and phone calls, was incredibly friendly, and arranged for incredibly quick shipment of my order to the local loading dock. The entire process was completely hassle free. The wood was of high quality, with no nails and nice square edges. After installation and sanding, it looked great (see photo). After several coats of polyurethane, it now shines. If Donnie's helpfulness and professionalism weren't amazing in and of themselves, the low coast and high quality of his product can't be beat. I know of no other source for such affordable antique flooring. Highly recommended.

I just had to take the time to review Donnie and his work. We are slowly redoing a carriage house on our working farm. We are being careful to reuse/reclaim materials as much as possible. I found Interstate on Houzz and have been so impressed with both the quality of the service as well as the beauty of the product. Donnie - the owner - is extremely professional, always take the time to properly communicate and truly worked with us to find the best products to fit our needs. Further, when our project got delayed, he offered to store our purchased wood free of charge. We've just received the wood and I have to say, it is stunning and exactly as Donnie described it to us (flaws and all). I strongly recommend this company and wiill definitely be using Interstate Flooring and Stairs again

I am a flooring contractor in Lake Charles, La. I recently ordered 1500 sq. ft. of 6 5/8" antique heart pine flooring. The communication was excellent. He kept me informed as the order progressed and when it would ship. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. The quality of the flooring was very good. I have installed a lot of flooring from other manufacturers and mills, and this is some of the best we have ever used. The milling was very precise and we didn't have to cull hardly any, which is unusual especially for a reclaimed product. The flooring installed and finished beautifully. I would definitely recommend this company and its products to anyone looking for a high quality flooring at a great price.

I was trying to find old/reclaimed maple flooring to re-due a room of aprox 500 sq ft. I spoke to many different companies and was so happy that I came across Donnie Peek at Interstate Flooring and Stairs. He was AMAZING, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The reclaimed wood I received was simply INCREDIBLE! 100+ yrs old from a cotton factory, great patina! If you're looking for wood flooring or stairs no matter what state you live, do yourself a favor and speak to Donnie. He is straightforward and can easily arrange transportation.
