Brett was hired by my husband to fix the problems with our front porch railing..Jim, my husband, has already posted a review but Brett was so professional and skilled I wanted to add to it. Not only was Brett very considerate of our needs, I am impressed with how clever the work was handled. Because Jim has taken care to paint and maintain our home over the passed 32 years, not all of the railing needed to be replaced. Brett carefully studied each section and methodically redid the sections which were rotten—and it looks fantastic. He listened and respected my husbands input, going out of his way to obtain the materials Jim wanted him to use. We couldn’t be more pleased and thankful for the work performed.

This project was miscellaneous exterior repairs. Deck boards, stain, entryway, exterior paint, pressure washing, gutter repair, drywall repair. Responded quickly to call for estimate. Provided estimate and work schedule quickly. Arrived on the scheduled days on time and finished on time. All crew members were courteous and helpful. Everything went exactly as planned. I couldn’t be happier. I will be happy to have Trusted Toolbox for my next project.

I needed a contractor to do a complete renovation of my master bathroom. The project had some urgency, as part of the bathroom had to be demolished for a completely unrelated repair issue. TTT came out and gave a fair initial estimate. Their project manager, Randy, followed up with a two-hour walk-through of all of the details of the project. He provided a revised estimate based on everything we discussed. I signed off immediately, and wanted to know next steps—i.e., I’ll pay you some money and let’s get on a calendar. No response for THREE WEEKS. Not even an acknowledgment along the lines of: Yes, I received your email signing off on our work order and inquiring about how you can give me a huge check; I will respond in xx days. NOTHING. After wondering for a few days if Randy had fallen down a well or if a mini-apocalypse had hit only TTT, I gave up and started interviewing new contractors. On the very day I inked a deal with a new contractor I received a pathetic voice mail from Randy apologizing for being “covered up”—for 3 weeks!—and “unable to deliver the service I deserve.” Clearly, a company that cannot take charge of the part of the process that’s important to it—i.e., collecting money and getting work started—doesn’t deserve my trust in performing the part of the job that’s important to me—i.e., quality work on my home. Believe the negative reviews. This company does not have its act together.

The Trusted Toolbox, Duluth, GA just finished a brand new Master Bath vanity in record time and under estimate. They demo'd and created exactly what my wife wished for plus left our home clean and neat. The really special thing was the fact we were gone the whole time and were careful to make sure our home was locked and protected when they were not working. They installed a wall to close up two rooms and installed french doors. Installed dining room judge's paneling, installed sash kit for a window, installed sliding drawers in the pantry. They also uninstalled and re-intalled our bannisters for a move. Also installed shelves. They were on time, worked neatly and all of the workers were professional. If I wasn't satisified with something, they immediately resolved the issue. There were just no problems working with them!! I called them, they gave me an estimate for the work quickly, did the work as promised. They did not take over my house and did not leave it a mess. What I love about this company is that they do a variety of things and do them well.
