The Styled Home was founded by Elizabeth Polansky in 2000. Our goal since the beginning has been to provide an affordable solution to home decorating to those who might not otherwise retain the services of an interior designer. Our typical clients are busy professionals who desire a cohesive, decorated look for their home, but who simply do not have the time, desire or know-how to get it done.
As The Styled Home grew in 2004 and Real Estate staging began to make its way East from the West Coast, we took the opportunity to grow an already successful business to offer something new to the Real Estate market in Greater Portland. In 2012, as the it became necessary to acquire warehouse space for our ever-growing inventory. By 2020 we have grown into our 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Which now included a retail furniture showroom (The Styled Home by UpScale)
The Styled Home is now the only staging company of it kind north of Boston.
