TM3-The Reno Twins

From lies to overcharging, not following basic building code, framing with missing nails, floating wall not blocked between ceiling joists and claimed drag wall will hold it together. 2 attempts to tile shower, failed both times. Tiles barely holding on wall because not enough mortar contact, charging to square a shower when the new contractors found floor 3/8 high in Center. 12000 dollars for 3500 sq ft of drywall, except only 1300 sq ft of drywall was installed, when questioned he had no straight answer. Took 5 months and we had to fire him because job was still not finished, working one day a week and not even full days, and every day I came home I found short cuts and mistakes made, his response was trust the process, and 90% of people don’t see what I see. His plumber forgot to tighten shower valve ended up leaking into my basement and claimed that’s how the valves come. Plumber installed shower base with spray foam instead of mortar as instructions called for mortar, base was creaking and sounded like fibreglass was cracking, Thad claimed the plumber said it was mortared but I scoped a camera underneath to find out that was a lie and spray foamed, plumber dented my dishwasher, claimed it’s wasn’t him, tapers did a horrible job and I was told i was to finish the touch ups. Tried charging 450$ for step from garage to house, was a 3ft wide 2x12, probably cost 20 bucks to make. After being fired jacked up electrical cost 3000 without consent or an explanation where the overages came from , jacked plumbing bill up 3000 with any explanation. Wouldn’t provide a detailed break down to show his claims of any overages, needless to say he was fired and I lost thousands just to get him out of my house, and thousands for repairing his work. Kitchen Cabinets not installed level, shelves not installed level and damaged, damaging drywall that he said it’s usually the painters job to fix( I was taking care of the painting as he quoted me 8000 dollars to paint a main floor of house 1200 sq feet). I wish I could give 0 stars

Tim V We contracted The Reno Twins for a basement reno. We needed to add an additional bedroom and improve the lighting on our lower level. The work was completed on budget and ahead of schedule! These guys were really easy to deal with and were always available when I called. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The Reno Twins just put new hardwood and trim throughout our home. They did all the demolition and removal of rugs, tile and existing hardwood floors. It was done quickly without a lot of dust and dirt stirred up. They diligently planned how to lay out the tile and flooring so it would best match the space. They tackled taking out and reinstalling our spindles on our stairway. It looks wonderful. They have tasteful recommendations and are knowledgeable about recent renovation design. The Reno Twins always consulted us before doing anything, adding input into our decisions. We are very happy with our new hardwood flooring and are confident the Reno Twins stand behind their work. They are hard working, creative and talented individuals

Jeremiah, Thad, and their team did a fantastic job on the full renovation of my master bathroom. It turned out just as I’d imagined. Jeremiah was very personable, patient, and provided a wealth of knowledge that definitely helped a lot in making my design and fixture choices. He was also very willing to work with me to get the project within my budget and we came in right on target. Would definitely use them again.

The Reno Twins are highly skilled, professional general contractors. They completed a bathroom, laundry room, family room reno as well as kitchen updates in our home with amazing speed and efficiency. They are also great designers offering great solutions and suggestions for areas I was struggling with. The Reno Twins and their entire team were extremely respectful of our home and always left it clean at the end of the day. They completed each stage of the project on time and on budget. I was especially impressed when I shared a concern after the project was completed and one of the owners came to my home on a Sunday (on his time) to ensure the concern was rectified. We would highly recommend the Reno Twins for any of your contracting needs. It was a compete pleasure working with them.

Overall I had a great experience choosing the Reno Twins. I have never done a renovation before and it was difficult to find a reputable company. Jeremiah and his Team came recommended and they definitely lived up to that recommendation. They are professional, answered all my questions with patience, took care of my home, along with quality workmanship. The project was large as they transformed the entire first floor of my home, with a new kitchen, fireplace wall and the stairway going upstairs. My home feels like new and my family and I love our new space! If you have never done a renovation before, be sure to ask lots of questions so that you have clear understanding what the outcome will be. There are a lot of moving parts. The only area that had some disconnects was between the contractors and the Reno Twins where communication at times was not aligned. Be prepared to follow up with your requests. Again, they were good at getting everything sorted out to my satfisfaction. I would highly recommend The Reno Twins and will be using them again next year for a smaller project. Choosing a contractor is a very difficult decision. TM3 was wholeheartedly the right choice for my extensive renovations. Their proposal was very detailed, clear, leaving no room for misunderstandings. TM3 is professional, very reliable, well mannered, respectful, and very tidy. TM3 embraced my 1930’s home, and gave it finishing touches to honour its heritage. Nothing was ever a problem for them, only a hurdle they chose to solve. All projects have challenges and obstacles. TM3 handled each one with grace, and calmness. Instead of bringing me “bad news” (because in a 1930’s home you will always uncover bad news), they were intrigued to deliver me a creative solution (rather than a band aid). Hired these guys on 2 different occasions. First for some back yard work, then a years or 2 later for some fron yard upgrades.

We hired TM3 to renovate our kitchen, bottom bathroom and to install hardwood flooring in our family room. They did a terrific job and I would recommend them to anyone thinking of renovating their house. They had great ideas and we are very happy with the results.

We recently used TM3 for renovating our basement and were very pleased with the results. Jeremiah and Thad are great to work with and always took the time to review all of our options at each step along the way. They were very good about sticking to our budget and recommending ways for us to stay on track. Like with most renovations we ran in to ugly things hidden behind walls but each time they were able to provide viable solutions to the situation.
