Located in Fairfax, Virginia for over 11 years, The Nest Egg offers a unique assortment of home furnishings and accessories to complement and enhance your surroundings. We hand select all of our products from quality manufacturers with a focus on custom furniture and upholstery with a majority of lines that are made in the US. The furniture that we feature includes transitional and traditionally designed pieces as well as antique reproductions. In addition to the pieces that we have on our sales floor, we welcome the opportunity to special order items to meet your exact needs. All of our domestic made lines are created especially for you and many can be customized to match the size and colors that work best for your style and space. To complete your interior we offer a large selection of rug, lighting, art and accessory options and we also offer a unique variety of gift items for every occasion. We look forward to welcoming you in our nest soon!

TNE (The Nest Egg) is THE best shop in NoVA for finding unique accent pieces and one of a kind gifts for those hard to buy for recipients & events. I especially appreciate the variety of candles, diffusers & picture frames at a various price points. Additionally, the design accessories are always focal points in any room/home. I try to visit at least monthly because new items are constantly being added to stock; buyers are spot-on for this place.

The Nest Egg is my favorite home decorating store! I worked with two designers from The Nest Egg, as well as the owner, Ann, to furnish several rooms in our new home. I enjoyed working with all of them and appreciated their efforts to understand my style and ideas prior to presenting me their design work for my family room, living room, and dining room. I love my furniture and the accessories used to pull the rooms together. I also appreciate the great quality (very important with 3 young children in the house), and the fact that most of the furniture is manufactured in the United States. I am often complimented on the decor in my home, and I believe I owe it all to The Nest Egg!

The Nest Egg is hands down my favorite store and my go to store for all home items. I purchased furniture and accessories at the Nest Egg for our home, mostly for our living room. At the time I purchased it, my family was in the process of moving to Hawaii, so it was important to me that I'd have both furniture and accessories that would hold up in the harsh sea air and sunlight. The Nest Egg directed to some Sunbrella fabrics and 3 years later, my sofa looks brand new and that is after being subjected to strong Hawaiian sunlight daily. The service cannot be beat and all the items and furniture are of the highest quality. I love the lines they carry, especially the Lee Industries furniture and love even more that they are made in the USA. They are extremely knowledgeable on everything they carry and I trust their judgement implicitly.

While I currently live in New York City, I make frequent trips to the Washington, DC area and The Nest Egg is ALWAYS a "must hit" store on my list. From adorable hostess gifts, seasonal items, candles - to larger home décor and furniture .. the Nest Egg is filled with beautiful, stylish and on trend merchandise. It is hard for me to leave the Nest Egg without a handful of my favorite items ... in fact, most of my most treasured pieces in my home have come from the Nest Egg. This past fall I adopted a baby and I was thrilled to be able to work with The Nest Egg to help design and furnish my daughter's room. The Nest Egg is by far one of my most favorite home décor and furniture shops!
