Handcrafted custom copper range hoods, pot racks, countertops, mailboxes and more. Our copper decor is handmade in USA from the highest quality copper, and ships all over the world. Our products are stunning and well made by a small team of craftsmen & women in Pennsylvania. We work with designers, contractors and homeowners, with your design or ours. Whether you are totally new to copper or to our products, or a seasoned designer who knows exactly what you want, we can help! We don't cut corners, and we are here to help you from the design phase to the days ahead when you are using our products, which advice and suggestions. Visits: We don't have a showroom at our location, but you can book an appointment to visit our shop. Appointments are required so we can schedule you around certain production times. You will meet Jason, owner and Master Craftsman, and get to see his latest project, the quality of the work, and of course samples for your own project. We do need plenty of notice due to our busy schedule.

I looked for a long time to find a hood fan that I would like. Finally, I found one and it was way overpriced. Then I found the medal peddler who made exactly what I wanted. I sent them a photo of the hood that I wanted made of copper and it is beautiful!!!! Thanks again.

We had an excellent experience with Danielle. Not only is our copper hood gorgeous and the focal point of our great room, but Danielle made the process so easy. She was knowledgeable, professional, and patient. She met deadlines and understood the home building process. Wish our builders had been the same! The quality of our hood is outstanding!

Inviting Spaces

We recently purchased a copper hood and copper sink from The Metal Peddler. The entire experience - from our first phone conversation through to the day we received our products - was simply top notch. Danielle was extremely responsive (we did everything by phone and email - never even saw the products in person before we ordered!), courteous, and professional. She even performed extra research for us when we were trying to determine what kind of exhaust fan we could use for our custom hood, based on the type of appliances we purchased for our kitchen. The craftsmanship of both the hood and the sink was outstanding, and every visitor that steps into our kitchen quickly comments on both of them. They have become quite the conversation pieces. We are thoroughly impressed with The Metal Peddler, and we have most certainly recommended them to our family and friends. Their prices are very reasonable, and their products far exceed any hoods we looked at with any other company.

Working with Danielle on our custom hood the easiest step in completing our kitchen. Danielle is so professional, knowledgeable, and well informed about range hood design and mechanics that even my builder was impressed. My husband also remarked on how knowledgeable she is about construction specs and kitchen design. She quickly answered our questions about code specs, oven/range requirements, ventilation, and space considerations. We couldn't have done it without her! I highly recommend the Metal Peddler and recommend them to friends who are in the process of building and need a custom range hood! Jennifer K

I bought my range hood and matching copper sink from The Metal Peddler. Both with iron strapping and "rivets" or clavos on the strapping. GORGEOUS! I waited 12 years to remodel the kitchen. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Found this superb company after googling coppersmiths. It was just like they had read my mind! I absolutely LOVE my kitchen, and the copper is the star of the show! I wanted something that stood out, original, and of course something that nobody around here had ever seen... Piece of cake for The Metal Peddler! Now, if I can upload my pics I'll let YOU be the judge. Thank you, so much!!!! I love it, I Love It, I LOVE IT! ...and I love everyone who loves it! Ha! Ha!

We constructed a new home in the Pittsburgh region. The Metal Peddler helped us to design a range hood working from his experience and prior designs. The process was enjoyable and he had some excellent suggestions. We added a quality exhaust fan and the hood was delivered by us and installed by the builder. The Metal Peddler is a Master craftsman, trained in Europe under the guild system. He is one of the few certified artisans in the States. The fabrication work is quality and is done on site in his shop just north of Pittsburgh, PA.
