Whether you need a refresh or full scale renovation, the consultation will be impactful and help narrow down your options and guide you closer to your vision and how you want to live in your space. In the session we will review your space over video with any photo, drawing or inspiration references you have available and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Rooted in design history, ancient and modern art and architecture, the studio reimagines interiors for all abilities in a world we see as multicultural and full of new talent and ideas. Our focus will always be the client and our vision, to create unique, functional, refined designs that transcend eras and inspire our collaborators. The Luster Kind offers accessibility world-wide by partnering with clients for streamlined, in-person full service or virtual design collaborations. In addition to standard hourly project rates, we offer design packages tailored to clients with various needs including accelerated lead times and no renovation or in-person meeting requirements. Packages are offered at a flat-fee with direct designer communication and include purchasing if requested, regardless of project location.

Nana designed my new fireplace, which has completely transformed my living room in the best possible way! She has incredible taste and was wonderful to work with -- super communicative, reliable, & extremely creative. Highly recommend!!

Love what Nana and her team has to the house. All of her work has been amazing and she goes above and beyond to help think of every detail while designing custom pieces for your home! I am located in Maui and hired The Luster Kind to redesign and style two rental properties. Nana has great taste and instinct and was able to help with floor plans, space planning and selections. I did not have to get involved in the purchasing process which was a huge benefit to my busy life and she was able to pull together two packages in a short amount of time. My properties are running smoothly now and always booked. My clients always comment on the comfort and style of the spaces. I look forward to working together again when I am ready to fully renovate my main house and also order custom furniture.

I found Nana through Houzz for a small project that needed a quick turnaround. My husband and I were about to move into a new house and we needed a designer to choose paint colors for all rooms. Nana was quick to respond and whipped up a whole presentation with multiple options in just a couple days. We loved a lot of her suggestions but were hesitant to go a dark gray in the kitchen since I’m a fan of white, white, white. In the end, we decided to trust her and we’re so relieved we did! All rooms look significantly better but the kitchen is our favorite transformation by far. She was even able to find a match for the horrible color of our countertops. We were so happy with Nana’s design that we’ve continued to use her for more projects including window treatments and lighting. Nana’s talented, knowledgeable, well connected, and has been a pleasure to work with. I look forward to hiring her for more projects!

The Luster Kind did a great job with renovation of my condo which included removing popcorn ceiling, new baseboards, new fireplace, new breakfast nook and wet bar countertops, a complete makeover of the guest bathroom and interior painting throughout. Nana has a flair for interior design and she took the time to explain good design principles to me. She was professional in coordinating the project with the contractors and sourcing the materials. I wanted a particular type of fireplace stone and she worked hard to source the stone that was perfectly suited to my taste. She quickly worked through issues and made sure the job was completed within budget and to my satisfaction.

I am so grateful I found The Luster Kind! I wanted custom pillows for my living room and have been trying to find a way of making them. I contacted Nana at The Luster Kind. She was quick to respond and we set up an appointment to meet at her showroom. I fell in love with her style as soon as I stepped into the showroom. From there she took her time to explain the process and help me finalize my choices. She has been attentive and has kept me posted on the progress of the pillows. I highly recommend The Luster Kind.

We worked with Nana on an addition to our house to accommodate my mother. Nana managed the process from start to finish and helped us through a difficult process. Her expertise in special needs, keen eye and vast knowledge of design history resulted in a space that fulfilled all of my mother’s needs with natural elements and an artist’s sensibility. Nana kept to our budget and very sensitive timeline. We now interact differently with our home and family.
