I have a large, well-established yard that had been neglected for a couple of years while tenants were living here. The area most visible from the road had become way overgrown and full of invasive plants and vines. I needed someone with an eye for design and a knowledge of plants to get it back in shape. The Garden Girl was perfect. She cleared out a LOT of stuff and knew how to make the existing shrubs and plantings look their best. She pruned and thinned and weeded. Then she went above and beyond and spread many loads of mulch. I couldn't believe the difference. My yard looks lovely again. I'll definitely be using her services again and highly recommend her.

Heard about Ashley through a friend. My wife and I were selling a house in Swannanoa, NC. Since we moved out while the house was still listed we needed to find a good, trustworthy person to maintain the landscaping. Ashley is very professional but down to earth. She listened to what I like and came up with a wonderful plan. She works hard & does the extra touches. Very reasonable prices.

We built a green home in Asheville, and ran out of steam by the time we were making decisions for landscaping, and ended up doing nothing. A few months after moving in, we contacted Ashley on the recommendation of staff at Warren Wilson College, where Ashley had been a student worker in the past. We had no idea what to expect, never having used a landscaper before, and Ashley was great at guiding us through the process! She was very knowledgeable about plants that do well in our environment, had great ideas, really listened when I told her a few of my own ideas, and she made sure to incorporate them while making our design. She was communicative, reliable, and did great work. I was impressed with the size and hardiness of the plants she selected and installed for us, which are doing great after a particularly hot NC summer. We are also very happy with the small retaining wall she built for us.
