Scott and Veronika took over an existing master bathroom renovation left incomplete by the previous contractor after they walked away following ongoing deficiencies and poor workmanship. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and quality of The Design Den team. We were referred to them by our plumber friend and couldn’t be happier with the end result. From start to finish the entire crew and all the sub-contractors relieved all the stress and difficulties left behind by the previous contractor. Scott and Veronika transformed a dark and unwelcoming 1959 basement into a beautiful, bright, functional space - it is truly unbelievable to compare the before and after pictures and no exaggeration to say that we've doubled our livable space. Veronika listened carefully to all of our wishes and requirements and walked us through every decision with patience and resourcefulness - she has a terrific eye for design, but does not impose her aesthetic on the client and is very practical in her suggestions. We appreciated her ability to narrow down the choices to a manageable number, within our budget, and steer us to the right decisions when we needed guidance. What I am most impressed by is the very high quality of finishing throughout the project - every detail was taken care of and Scott has exacting standards both for external suppliers and his own team. Speaking of the team, everyone who worked on our home was extremely personable, professional, and trustworthy. There were lots of unexpected challenges along the way, but the Design Den powered through and sustained their enthusiasm for our project until the very end. We are truly delighted with our new space.

Scott and Veronika initially completed one bathrooms for us, as well as a full interior re-paint. From initial quote to completion, they were professional and treated us and our home with nothing but respect. Scott worked with us to figure out the scope of the job and finalize the quote. Veronika worked with us extensively to figure out how to transform the space according to our needs and preferences, with lots of samples, guidance and patience along the way. Scott managed the project, ensuring our home was kept as clean as possible, that the work was completed to the highest standard, that the tradespeople were of the highest calibre, and kept us informed about every step along the way. No question was ever considered "silly" and it was a pleasure having them in our home. Following the completion of the first bathroom, we hired them to complete the second one since we were so happy. The final result is that we are absolutely delighted with our gorgeous new bathrooms and bright new space. We have no hesitation recommending them to anyone, and would absolutely hire them again!

I have worked with The Design Den on a number of projects, supplying and installing windows and doors. Veronika and Scott are both excellent at communicating their clients needs, and have high expectations for all of their projects. Scott, Veronika and Shane were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They transformed an almost uninhabitable condo into the home of my dreams. Scott oversaw every aspect of the project from coordinating the trades to helping me decide on a light bulb with the right balance of warmth and brightness. After dealing with the heartbreak of a major water leak in the master bath of our 8 year old house, Scott and Veronika rescued us. Knowing that we will not have to deal with leaks again (Scott uses the Schluter system) has been a great comfort. Veronika listened to our general desires about design and came up with fabulous ideas that made our bathroom drop-dead gorgeous! We couldn't be happier. They are the best.

We first worked with Scott and Veronika when we needed finishing work done on a recent renovation project. My husband and I are thrilled we hired Scott and Veronika to makeover our main floor kitchen, dining room,living room, entry and family bathroom.
