Rob Raymond designed our house. His innovation, creativity, and style exceeded our expectations. He took our thoughts and applied his expertise to perfection. He provided great insight and ideas for us to consider and was respectful and professional throughout. We couldn't be happier with our home and thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Rob! He is an amazing talent!

Rob is one of our favorite architects to work with and send our clients to. He not only designs stunning homes, but truly understands how to design a high level LEED certified home. Our first project together was the Belmont residence, which was one of the very few homes in the Dallas area that achieved LEED Platinum without alternative energy sources. Since then we have worked with Rob on many different custom build to suits, and will continue to refer our clients to him. Rob is a genuinely nice guy who does what is right, and is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Rob Raymond drew the plans for my kitchen and provided consulting services for the duration of the project. Rob asked the right questions and really listened to what I wanted. I was happy to work with someone so knowledgeable and appreciated his suggestions. I sought his advice on even the tiny details and he was very patient. Rob is honest and reliable. I am a graphic designer/architectural designer who has worked with Raymond Design many times on various renderings of residential projects designed by architect Rob Raymond. Not only is Rob is very easy to work with, he is also great at communicating his ideas. We had the pleasure of working with Rob while acting as the builder on a modern custom home this year. Rob worked closely with the client to provide several conceptual designs for this home prior to settling on the perfect plan. He communicated a clear design intent and worked with all of us to realize his vision. His attention to detail and organizational skills are top notch. We look forward to any opportunity that we may have to work with Rob in the future.

My husband and I were drawn to Rob's modern aesthetic and beautiful work, ultimately choosing him to draw plans for us for a new construction home on a wonderful creek lot. We were blown away by the design Rob created! He listened to everything that was important to us and made it happen, in addition to other insightful details that we never would have thought of. We were insistent that the creek view be front and center from the instant you enter the front door, and Rob delivered in spades - not only were there gorgeous sight lines of the creek from the entry, but the layout of the kitchen, family room and dining room all took advantage of the awesome view as well. Rob's understanding of how to show off the best features of a lot is really impressive. I could go on and on about Rob's skills, but one glance at his portfolio can do most of the talking for me. What I didn't expect upon meeting with Rob was how receptive he would be to our ideas, and how truly wonderful he would be to work with. Meeting with an architect can feel intimidating, but Rob is completely down to earth and great to talk to. We can't recommend him enough!

We hired Raymond Design to design our new home. Rob Raymond has an excellent eye for detail and great listening skills. He quickly understood our tastes and what we wanted in a house. As a result, his suggestions were spot on, often bringing ideas to the table that we didn't even know we wanted until we saw them! If he ever made a suggestion we didn't like, he didn't push it, and his ego never got in the way. His meeting notes were detailed beyond compare, and I don't recall finding a mistake in his plans as the house was being built. You'll never meet a nicer person, making the process as stress-free as possible.

Rob acted as a consultant for us. He guided us and gave us a great foundation for the design and build process. We were complete novices. He took the time to LISTEN to us (literally hours and hours.) He made us feel like no question was off-limits. Rob asked all the right questions to help us come to our own decisions. In other words, he leaves his ego at the door. Rob is extremely qualified and passionate about high-performance homes; especially in energy management. He was always sharing new and innovative techniques. We found this to be unique in the home building world. Rob helped us interview builders. And then once we chose a builder he came to the preliminary meetings with the builder, architect, HVAC firm, etc. We always felt comfortable with our decisions knowing Rob had been with us in the meetings listening and questioning; he was truly our advocate!
