Mori Furniture Design

We hired Tom Diess' company Mori Furniture to help make a custom, live edge, Black Walnut Table. Tom spent considerable time with us, helping us to pick out the wood and then taking care of moving the wood from the store we bought it from to his shop. Tom also had connections for us to have a custom base made and for a furniture finisher. The base was made by David Norrie, who is an excellent Blacksmith! It was great to work with Tom and our table turned out stunning!

Walnut Street Woodworks provides beautiful custom furniture. They have been in business for many years and as a result have a lot of experience and expertise. They are very professional and provide excellent customer service. We have several pieces of their furniture in our home and have been very satisfied with them. We have a beautiful walnut dining room table that gets a lot of oohs and ahs from our guests, several of whom have wanted to buy the table! All in all, I have been impressed with the quality of their furniture.

We have worked with Tom Diess & Chris Connors from Mori Furniture Design for years. They are both gifted artists and furniture makers. They are experts at translating the customers desire into design and fabricating something both unique and beautiful. They have experience in commercial and residential projects. Woodwork is craft that takes years to develop and hone, and the Mori Furniture Woodshop is at the top of their game. They have earned their reputation as great woodworkers as well as business professionals.

A lot of things go well when working with Tom and Chris. They certainly create high-quality cabinetry, but they also provide the whole remodeled room's woodworking requirements--liners, decorative pieces, and so on. Hardware and features are state of the art. What may matter most, however, is the professionalism of getting to the finished product. They work with you to establish your design, they get their measurements right so that the contractor installs components without modification, and they understand their own schedules reliably. They did our bathroom just recently and our kitchen a few years ago.

I have recommended Tom of Mori Furniture Design on a number of occasions and continue to recommend him highly. We have collaborated on several pieces of furniture and Mori Furniture Design's work has always been beautifully designed and executed. Tom is always willing to create unique designs incorporating their beautiful woods.

Working with these Talented group has been an experience. By saying experience is a great thing! Watching their craft and vision unfold before your eyes is amazing to say the least. The time and attention that they take to create some of the most beautiful works of art I have seen constructed from wood definitely sets them apart from any other resource we have in our market. They did a CEO's office out of Claro Walnut for a fortune 100 company of ours, made from raw slabs of wood with an incredible pattern. Same project they were asked based on how beautifully the office turned out to do the Companies boardroom with a fully outfitted with audio visual, data and power custom made and designed table and gorgeous credenza. They are good at what they do because you can actually see the love for what they do in the way they speak about each project. I would recommend them for any size project, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

We have a magnificent one of a kind desk that is a real show piece! Mori Furniture Design worked with us from choosing the piece of wood, designing the desk to our specific needs and size and delivered on everything they said they would do. Mori Furniture Design provided assistance to me for renovation of my previous house with custom cabinetry, dining set, and custom trim work. The house is a 1950's modern, and was updated with Mori's advice which captured the essence of the era in which the house was originally constructed. Work was completed on schedule and minor modifications were resolved with no conflicts. The house was sold and closed within 10 days of the listing. Mori is an enterprise which has been in business for many years and was a pleasure to work with due to their knowledge and professionalism.
