This beautiful home was constructed on land that we sold to the developer and for which we had a 'first option to buy' agreement. We witnessed the development of the property at first hand and were impressed by the care and professionalism that was put in to every stage. Work was carried out with the minimum of disruption and noise and workmen, under the direction of the Kennedys, were carefully respectful of neighbours. As the building grew and the imaginative design of the interior became apparent, we decided to exercise our option to buy. From that moment, Tammie Kennedy involved us in every phase of the internal development from choice of bathroom fittings and kitchen appliances to the nature of access to the loft space. This bungalow is quite simply a beautiful home; light, airy and spacious, but also warm and welcoming due to excellent insulation and triple-glazing. It has many practical features such as rainwater harvesting, solar-powered water heating, power point for electric cars, and power-operated Velux roof windows, which give light and ventilation to a spacious entrance which could be described as an atrium. Externally, the cedar wood cladding and hand-applied slate tiling give the house a distinctive and distinguished look. The external wall of slate is extended into the entrance hall and lounge and is a most stylish and unusual feature. Since we have moved in, Tammie has been solicitous in ensuring that the house 'works' for us and has immediately taken care of the one or two small glitches that we have experienced. First class materials were used in the construction and a small group of experienced and trusted tradesmen and women created this unusual, if not unique, exceptional home.
